  • "Hotel is situsted away from the main strip but within easy walking distance. All staff are freindly and wiiling to help if there is a problem of any sort.

    Bar staff always happy and entertaining."

    "HAve found a great family restruant within walking distance called "Blue Sky" once again always welcomed and not rushed to eat to get the next people in. This is located just of the main strip on a side street. Glad that we found thie place, meals are great."

  • "Lovely clean hotel decor a little dated and security not very good , staff very pleasant
    and we enjoyed our stay"

    "Best restaurant was the self service restaurant directly across the road from the hotel which i believe all locals used best to go early as it was very busy later in the evening
    Nearest beach was a bit of a walk in the heat but lovely once you were there
    Best shops were in the old town Aulbuferia"

  • "The apartment was very spacious considering there were only 2 of us staying in it. Maid service was good and the people on reception were very friendly and helpful. I would return to the apartments and recommend it to others."

  • "I did make a special request when I booked to have a room with a double bed and not a twin. On arriving at our appointed appartment, we had two single beds pushed together. The mattresses on beds were quite hard too. I didn't understand why there was no dish cloth or tea towel to be able to wash up so I left the washing up for the cleaners but they didn't do it either. That confused me. Apart from that all was good."

    "Cabana Fresca Restaurante, Praia dos Pescadores, Fisherman's Beach. Superb food and outstanding service. So good we went back a second time. Highly recommended"

  • "Hotel was lovely, clean and the staff helpfull. Cleaners were noisy in the morning but besides that everything was fine.The room we had was more than big enough for two of us, with 2 sofas, tele, aircon, fridge bla bla bla all in there.I'd reccomend it to anyone."

    "The hotels about 15 mins walk to the old town and only 5 mins to the strip, if you follow signs for a place called koala garden (Told it was nice food but its a rip off) theres free maps on their gate informing you of where all the bars are around the strip."

  • "Our resort was just what we were looking for. Handy for everything, yet far enough away from the noise of 'the strip'. Fairly basic accomodation although it was clean and proved an excellent base for our family. Childrens pool excellent for our 2 non swimming children who built up confidence in the water while we were there. Would recommend to any family with young children."

    "A visit to Zoo Marine is a must. Was very busy the day we went, but thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals especially the dolphins."

  • "The hotel was great,central location for both the Strip and the beautiful Old Town ,15 - 20 mins walk. Holiday would of cost £1000 more if booked by a High Street Travel Agent, Thankyou Travel Republic, we have told all are frinds and will use you again."

  • "Must say the hotel was lovely, great location not to far from the main strip (about a 10 min walk) very spacious rooms, there was 3 of us in a one bed apartment. The cleaning service wasnt that great as we had to ask for a towel change but they provided them straight away but they did clean the apartment every other day. The only draw back is the bedrooms are on quite a busy road and so if you wanted a lie in that wasnt really happening. There was a lovely pool there plenty of sunbeds and a nice pool snack bar. The beach was about a 20 min walk away or 4 euros in a taxi so hardly anything. Would definitely recommend this hotel to say at."

  • "We should have stayed at the Valmangude (pictured right) but due to them carry out refurbishments we were moved immediately upon our arrival to a different hotel in the same chain. Perola do Algarve, this is a very nice hotel and the cleanliness and friendliness was on par, we had a good break after the initial disapointment of being moved from the hotel we so badly wanted to go back to having been there two years running. Overall we still had a fab time and I expect we will be back next year... but to which hotel...?!"

    "You must visit the Blue Sky resturante! Its just off the main strip, its down a road tothe left of Libertos, follow the signs for Tom and Jerrys and keep going! The food is excellent, it is a family run restuarante and has been there since 1986, the people are friendly there is no rushing people in and out in fact one night we arrived around 8 and finally left just after midnight!! Have the Algarve Steak!"

Accommodation

The Valmangude Jardim has 66 rooms all of which are equipped with satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe deposit boxes (at a charge), air conditioning, bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette. The Apartments are cleaned six times per week, linen is changed two times per week and towels three times per week.

Food & Beverage

The hotel boasts a cocktail bar and snack bar in the swimming pool area.

Sports & Leisure

The hotel offers large fresh water swimming pool for adults and a paddling pool for children.

Facilities & Services

Hotel has 2 elevators. In the neighbourhood of the hotel the guests will find local handicraft, bullring, discos, slide water parks, local market, karting track, Vilamoura Casino, Vilamoura Yatch Marina and Zoomarine.
