"the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. we had a minor problem with our water on the first day and this was dealt with promptly. The hotel is well-situated, two mins walk from a metro station, bus stop and only a 30 mins walk into the heart of Lisbon.

The restaurant in the hotel is also first-rate. we usually avoid the hotel restaurants but as we were there on a public holiday and all the local ones were closed, we thought we would give it a try. the food was amazing, easily the nicest food we had in Lisbon."
Top Tip:
"A day trip to the local beaches are easy and cheap (about 3 euro return). Estoria or Cascais are the best bets. Day trip to Sintra is also recommended but beware, the hill to the castle is long and steep! Final tip - restaurant called Sacramento near the convent in the centre of Lisbon is reasonably priced and has a great romantic atmosphere. definitely recommend it."
