Got to the Alpha Hotel to be advised we were double booked. Moved us to the Primavera 2 appts about a 2 minute walk away. Appts were very average. We were there for 4 days. No clean towels, no maid service, no bins emptied. Hotel entrance was on a very dark bit of waistland which for 2 women was quite scary walking home.
great for stags and hens
Great for stags and hens
i booked the Alpha Appartments for myself and a group of friends, we really wanted to stay at these appartments as we had stayed there before and liked them as they are near all the pubs and clubs. But when we arrived at the Alpha Appartments we were told that we were not staying there as they were over booked - we all found this very hard to take as we had booked in January. We were sent to appartments about 5 minutes walk away and were not given any transport to take us there we had to carry all our luggage ourselves - we were not amused. The appartments we stayed in were nice enough but were beside spare ground and we found this a bit creepy at night as there was no one around when we were walking home late at night.

excellent
red dog pub
Went here for a mates stag do and wasn't really expecting much for 2 key hotel, but the apartments were great. Very clean hotel and saw guests of all ages staying at this hotel. Bar staff extremely friendly and would definately recommend that people stay at this hotel.
The beach was a 5-10 walk away. Wooky Bar 2 was just around the corner with a great offer on beer- 10 bottles of Heinekin for £10 Euro!!!! Would also recommend Cafe Benidorm for the later part of the night/morning-awesome place!
The hotel was really quite while we were there with it being March but I think this would be excellent for both familes and groups of young people during the summer.
It was just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Its also about 5 mins from the main strip.
Overall, hotel was fine. Everything was clean and the pool was nice. Only downfall was that the cleaner only came in one day and all she did was change the towels. Unless you're constantly needing your sheets changed which we didn't because we were only in bed a couple of hours a night, you'll survive!
The Rose and Crown (for the party type!) is the place to be before heading down the strip
The room was comfortable and had everything that was needed. It was warm and had a lovely balcony to take advantage of the afternoon winter sun
The alpha hotel is in a good location, close to the beach, shops, and not far from the square, but far enough so you don't hear it at night.
Never used the bar on site, so can't comment on food etc. No problem getting our deposit back, we left at 8.30 a.m. We will, hopefully, be returning there at Easter.
Heartbreak hotel great for live music, on the beach, but not cheap. Tommys 2 for 1 from 7 pm and right next door.

This was my second visit to this Hotel. Was equally as pleasant if not more so than my first visit. Had a great time and staff friendly. Pool area was clean and tidy and even got a change of bath towels this time.
thoroughly enjoyed our short break, unfortunately they wouldn't let us pay to keep our room on the last day which was a pain, but other than that great!
The Alpha Apartments were in a good location near to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife. I would recommend these apartments to people who like to be centrally located as we found that everything was within reasonable walking distance.
To top up your tan we would recommend the bar mallorca situated opposite the palm court, lovely sun terrace. The staff were lovely. For entertainment we would recommend Morgan's Tavern and Broadway - good shows in both. Also the UK Comedy Club to see Chrissy Rock.
We have stayed at the Alpha apartments numerous times although basic they are large and fully equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday, large swimming pool and free sun lounges (sun all day) the small staff team are very pleasent and helpful especially Javi who manages the complex, guest's return here year after year for the friendly atmosphere. There are computers in the rooms with internet access for a small fee. there is a small bar open 10am -midnight which serves good basic meals incuding engish breakfasts (if this is your preference.) there are lots of supermarkets close by. Large bottles of water can be purchased in reception to save you carrying from local shops
There is an excellent Chinese close by next to oscars, also a beautiful spanish restaurant just around the corner, also a good childrens play area within a few minuts walking distance, the lovely Levante beach is a short stroll away (approx' ) 10 min's
The day staff were great and the apartments were clean and spacious. However the last day (Monday) was totally ruined, we spent all day from 9am to5.30pm and approximatly £30 trying to contact resorthopper on the phone, e mail, mobile and texts. I finally got a text at 6pm.
The apartments were tidy and clean. No laundry or towel change, but expected this as only there for six days. The only negative to the holiday was if you checked out before 10am, you had to leave your name and address for the deposit to be returned via post. As it happened, we checked out at 9.30 am and were lucky enough to have this returned straight away as the reception was manned early that day. All in all, it was everything we anticipated.
There are many places to eat in the area, but my favorite was the SOL BAR on the sea front. All food freshly repaired, no microwave meals and very tasty and large portions.
Nice clean place to stay.We found this a perfect place as it was within walking distance of all night life.
Staff were very helpfull and we enjoyed our short stay.
Accommodation was basic, but as stated in the description. There seemed to have been some water damage though as the veneer on the bathroom door and the unit in the living room was coming away. There was a full size fridge and cooker in the kitchen. But there was no dressing table or set of drawers in the bedroom. The balcony was a good size. Linen was only changed once though in 10 days!!! There were a couple of stag parties there, but there was no trouble at all. The apartments were well situated, just far enough away from the night life, but close enough to walk to it, or to the beach. Overall we enjoyed the holiday, not sure if we would go back to these apartments, we had to pay to hire the safe, it was 3 euros per day for tv, and a deposit of £50 (refundable on departure) for the room.
We didnt like Tommy's, the bar next door to the apartments, only went there once and the comedian was rubbish, the drinks were the local rubbish which made me ill!!
Basic but clean staff friendly
Roosters which is accross the road from the celtic tavern serves excellent food, best breakfast i have ever had and i go to benidorm at least six times a year, only 2euros for a small which is ample or 4euros for the large which is 2 of everything. Evening meals are mostly home made 10euros for 3 courses which includes a drink.
