Check-in Date: 10/Jun/2010

we were a gang of lads on a one week stag party. found the apartments very roomy and more than catered for our needs. balcony massive. pool and loungers better than expected and spent lots of time there. John in hotel bar sorted any problems we had imediately and was always on hand to help or advise. great location just on the edge of everything old town, the square or beach. would recomend for similar party or small group and would use again. contary to other reviews found the apartments to be very secure and safe.

Top Tip levante beach is superb night or day. the square at night was a blast.
restaurants and bars everywhere great prices excellent value for money cant go wrong
our favourite 'guiness bar' on the beach front late afternoon live music cold beer sunshine and chill !

Very basic apartments and a bit grotty, would not stay there again, only positive thing about them is the guy who ran the bar who was very friendly.

Stayed there for 10 days no sight of a maid. Washed sheets myself. Power point in kitchen was broken so couldn't even boil kettle . Microwave had no plate in & hot plates were not hot - good job we were eating out !!!! but apartment was roomy & luckily we had a good laugh with the other couples who were staying there about the state of the place. Some of the other couples paid nearly twice as much as us so Travel Republic was a good deal compared to the others.

Top Tip Don't go there !!!

I don't think the hotel was worth the money I paid, as we didnt get any cleaning in the week, no new bath towels or anything and there is no air conditioning! It was also quite noisy due to other people staying and the kitchen appliances didnt work. However, the people who run it are english and are very nice helpful people.

Top Tip The beach is absolutely wonderful, they also have some great attractions for all ages including an aqua park which is only 2 euros to on the bus, also an animal park and zoo, the restaurants are fantastic near the beach, and some absolutely fantastic bars. One which we really like was an Irish Bar call the Bodheric Bar i think, very nice place and great atmosphere. Would definitely go back to Benidorm.

This Hotel Apparments are in the middle of the noisiest and Night club populated area in the predominately spanish part of OLD benidorm.
we went last year and stayed in the C block of the appartments wich are cold because the sun does not ever reach them, so we requested the A block wich is on the sunny side and should have been warmer but for the uncaracteristicaly cold spell of weather for this time of year (Cant win them all).
we were told last year that they were being REFERBISHED so we booked again but all that had been refurbished was the outside of the balconys with steel supports to stop balcony edge decay,The inside has not been touched appart from the odd cracks filled in the plaster , There is no double glazing in any windows and is therefore cold and very noisey from the clubs at weekend untill at least 5.30am so no sleep.
Not reccomended unless you like to party all night and sleep all day.
The Staff in the Bar (English) were oblighing.

Check-in Date: 29/Sep/2008

Building and swimming pool location excellent. Interior was like being back in the fifties, bar and rooms all need a good refurbishment. The furniture in the appartment was all very dated and very basic. The request for a light bulb for the batroom was promised every day and after a week was still not fixed. Having said all this it was cheap and cheerful and therefore could be described as good value for the money.

Top Tip Good location for lots of very good restaurants and bars.

Barbara from Newport reviewed the Amalia Apartments
Check-in Date: 02/Sep/2008

The apartments were below basic, you were only supplied with 1 towel per person which weren't changed while we were there. No microwave in the kitchen and the toaster was of very poor quality. We asked for the light bulbs in the bathroom and on the balcony to be replaced the second day we were there and several times after that and nothing was done about it. It is the sort of place for young people to stay after a night out in the square until the early hours and just being able to get your head down to sleep.
The bar below the apartments was really good, no entertainment but a very good atmosphere.

Top Tip Not far from the main square where all the entertainment was and some very good resteraunts.

Hotel is drab, but to be fair we knew it was very basic so we did not mind, we were prepared. We stayed in the location we wanted to stay in. It was not about the quality of the accomodation.
