Up grade to premiere room- standard room, small no views, noisey, food-school dinners! good pool
Hotel was lovely, rooms were basic but had everything you need and we didnt spend much time in there anyway! pool area was lovely and was always able to get sunbeds, no matter what time we went down. Staff friendly, near the nightlife which was great!
Hotel was just what we was looking for. Central to everything yet quiet enough to escape the hustle of the nightlife. The hotel pool was clean and of a high standard and fairly quiet in the day. We would have preferred it to stay open past the 6 o'clock deadline but nothing to argue about. Hotel porter on night duty proper sound guy and extremely helpful and friendly. We went b@b and breakfast was quality with a good variety. Plenty of restaurants around with loads of variety at reasonable price so whether you go full board or not you wont be disappointed with variety of food on offer. Local beer is Keo and is about 2 euros a pint. If you go for the carling fosters stella etc i strongly recommend that you drink bottled beer as the draught is proper watered down. Beach is 2 minute walk.
The liquid bar is an upmarket classy bar/restaurant and price of beer is cheap and not watered down. If you like your cypriot girls then this is the place to be on a fri/sat night and you wont be disappointed with the array of talent on sight. Jellys bar is local and smart aswel that offers a real decent menu. Both these are my top tips for restaurants and bars to visit.
Our second time ithis hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area quiet in the week we went (end May). Rooms comfortable. Only fault was the fact that they put a camp bed for the third person.
The Nissi beach is a 20 minute walk or taxi ride (8 euros). Also we recommend the Dragon Chinese for a meal.
We had a room overlooking the recently re-designed pool area, which was excellent. I am not sure that we would have been so happy in any of the rooms at the side (overlooking the road leading to the harbour) or front of the hotel (overlooking the car park).
The food was good and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach and many of the bars and restaurants in Ayia Napa.
After an excellent holiday, we would definitely consider returning to the Anesis.
Small hotel in a central position. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was very nice with plenty of sunbeds.
There were lots of special places very close to the hotel. A variety of restaurants, close to the harbour with excellent fish restaurants and boat trips.
We were delighted with the friendly staff and delicious food at the Anesis Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book for the same place again.
The new museum in Ayia Napa is very impressive.
Great hotel, family rooms are huge! Pool is great, however, you could not use it until 10 in the morning which some of the families we met, found annoying as their kids were early risers!
Just one moan-the owner, who arrived at the hotel each afternoon at around 4.30, regularly moaned at my kids and their friends. She was not happy one day because my three year old, left handprints on the glass doors!! Not consistent with a family friendly hotel.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful.
I would stay there again. No complaints.

We just returned back from a weeks stay at the anesis, we could not fault this hotel at all. they cleaned our rooms daily. it was only a hort walk to the harbour beach and a short walk to the pubs and clubs on the square. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. We stayed there as bed and breakfast but did eat dinner in the hotel one night and it was fantastic value for just over ten euros each. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone going to agia napa and the pool is fantastic!!!
If you like mexican food you must eat at los bandidos just off the square, it was the best mexican food, It is a very popular restaurant so either make a booking or if you have time to kill go to the bar above the restaurant and spend your time waiting for the table sipping away at their lovely strawberry margerhitas .mmmmmmm....
Also to see a little bit of the district go on the open top red bus tour, it takes you right up to the turkish border - it was fantastic value for 15euos, it leaves right outside the square!
1) Hotel we stayed it was not the one we had booked 5 months previously. When we arrived at Anesis we were told 'sorry, doublebooked, no room' and sent to the Nestor. We were furious as we arrived late at night, and just wanted our hotel and the room we had booked and paid for. Disgraceful. The room we had at the Nestor was not what we had booked, it was cheap and nasty with the double bed we had booked being only two twins shoved together.
2) Excuse from manager at Anesis following morning was, that 'there are some problems here'. No compensation offered. We were informed we had to stay at the Nestor for our entire holiday. When we thried to upgrade our room, they spent so long sorting it out that half our holiday was over.
3) our transfer to airport on way back did not arrive despite us ringing to reconfirm. We nearly missed our flight home.
The hotel was lovely
The mexican which is at the top of the square - We enjoyed it so much we went twice
We did not get the Superior room which we had booked and paid for on our first night which we were not happy about and I have written to you in this respect.
Claribelles restaurant great
Jacuzzi, room 206 & 207 had massive balconies, with 2 sun loungers, table and chairs on, absolutely awesome.
Beautiful Greek restaurant, opposite Tommys bar, and Nessi Beach is a €8 cab ride, well worth it, superb beach that.
Staff were excellent, rooms were excellent, balconies were even better. Better than 3*!!
Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, pool area fantastic. location excellent for beach and shops and night life but not too near to nightlife if you dont want to be in the thick of it.
there was four of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. we will definately go back and stay at the hotel
this hotel is right in the centre of aiya napa but in a very quiet location it has a large pool area with plenty of sunbeds i would recomend upgrading the room to superior sea view as these rooms have double the size balcony with table and chairs and 2 sunbeds and we had a kettle and a fridge.the hotel was spotlessly clean and we had maid service every day.this hotel was above average for a 3star hotel, its close to the beach/supermarkets and nightlife
The hotel was nice, staff were friendly and helpful. For the price I would definitely recommend this hotel. Location was good, about a 7 minute walk from the strip and a 3 minute walk from bars and restaurants but far enough away for some peace and quiet at night if you dont fancy the clubs. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and although we had all booked the same standard rooms there were big differences in what we got. All the rooms were clean however one of the rooms was large with a nice size balcony, the other room was average and the last room was tiny with a 'balcony' that wasnt even big enough for 2 people to stand in comfortably. Breakfast was average - not much choice but still good for the price we paid! Pool was lovely but cold. If we were to return to Ayia Napa we would definitely stay at the Anesis again. I wouldnt really recommend Ayia Napa for a family holiday however the hotel has a nice childrens play area and pool if you are thinking of taking children.
The restaurant at the end of the road is lovely (Abacus), definitely worth a visit. Also the Napa Star Inn for cocktails, the best i've had in a long time - Happy hour from 4-10pm! :)
This hotel is well situated 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the sqaure, has a lovely pool very well laid out with plenty of beds, wonderful choice of food and very friendly and accomodating staff. we were in ayia napa for a wedding and had a lovely stay at the anesis hotel.
