hotel very clean though would of liked clean sheets more than once a week food was cooked very nice but not a great deal of choice breakfast was very poor good job we had toaster micro and cooker made our own breakfast was right on top of beach and bars and resturants

Just home from our holidays. Had a great time. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Its really Close to the beach and main strip. It was great for shopping, you could just pop into the apartment and drop off bags and for going home at night. The apartment was really big and spacious and really clean. Surprisingly nice and cool inside the apartment even though theres no Air Con. Reception was really helpful. Pool really nice aswell. Only bad thing was the Breakfast in restaurant was horrible and for drinks there was no menu, no cocktails nothing.
If i was going back there again i would def stay there again.

Universe Restaurant just at the corner by the apartment had Unreal Breakfast with real irish rashers.
Tiquila Bar down left of stip had until Fillet Steak and cocktails and good bar at night.
Charlies Irish bar has good atmosphere....unreal band everynight.

Lovely clean apartments. Microwave toaster and everything. Right beside ruta 66. 2 seconds from the beach and all the night life but really quite you would never hear a sound. Friendly staff. Perfect spot with NO hill!

The Arena Dorada was a very good complex. Very near to the strip, but far enough away to keep the area quiet at night. We booked half board and while the food was good, and they did offer a variety and a change every night, it got a bit boring. Eating out is cheap, seems the prices have been put down again and so I would consider self catering if I went back here.

If you like the beach -it's on your doorstep. If you like to eat out - it's on your doorstep. If you like to party - it's on your doorstep!

Helpful and friendly reception staff. Great location - very near the beach, shops and restaurants but surprisingly quiet. Clean and spacious apartments. Well kept pool area. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Couldn't fault our accommodation, basic but clean. The maids came most days, sweeping,mopping, changing towels or bedding etc. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Two minutes from the beach, near all the restaurants and bars.

The American Indian Restaurant around the corner from us had live music from 10 until 2 in the morning. The rock band called 'Question' certainly had music for everyone - never failed to get us up dancing. Waiters and staff here very friendly and polite.The Tequila bar had 'happy hour' all evening, and we had most of our meals at Chico's - although other restaurants we went to were excellent as well. Great breakfast at Charlie's.

Really nice, but basic accomodation. Rooms cleaned every second day quiet and pretty pool area fantastic for a relaxing in the sun. perfect location for beach and main strip but a bit too far from the old town. reception staff were very friendly and helpful. only problem was being woken up early each morning by the maintenace man hammering various things around the complex. would recommend this place for couples just wanting a quiet peaceful place to relax in the sun for a week.

The tapas restaurant across the road from the hotel is absolutely amazing!!!

The appartment was very clean and tidy with cleaners coming round atleast 3 - 4 times a week! Reception staff very friendly and helpful but only open till 8.30pm which isn't so good if you have a problem! Location was perfect for us as 2min walk to the beach & main strip & noise level at night was not a problem! No hills to walk up & down & supermarket within 2mins walking distance. Had a few cockroachs which was abit distressing as I hate bugs! But apart from that I was very impressed & will be booking at this appartment again!

Recommended Resturants - The Place - which is abit of a walk pass the casino but WELL worth it as the food is really good, the views are lovely and run by a family business also quite cheap 2 to eat & drink around 25 euros. Also take a trip out to sea on a glass bottom boat to see the Lava rocks in the sea it's 20 euros but well worth it it's beautiful & amazing.

Very centrally located. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Pool bar opening hours are very erratic and reception will not cash traveller cheques (first time I've ever experienced this problem. All in all good clean apartments for a very reasonable price in a fantastic location which is still quiet and relaxing.

turn left at bottom of road keep going till u find the bar humbug. not only is the beer cheap.they have anice sun terrace and the lovely owners carl and sue put on top entertainment.watch out for the jaeger bros.very good.

WE found the Arena Dorada to be a brilliant place to stay the room was cleaned everyday and the location was 3minutes away from all amenites and main beaches. The restarunt was very nice also and the staff on reception were both very helpful and pleasent to talk to.We would definately return again and recomend the complex to family and friends.

I found the small beach across the road from the Tequila Bar to be far better than the main beach further up the strip. The main beach was nearly impossible to walk on, the sand was far to hot and the sunbeds are very far away.The smaller beach has no sunbeds but the sand is far cooler to walk on, also none of the beaches have showers on them which is a bit silly as you can't shower after swimming.

All staff very friendly appartments really clean. Very near all bars, restaruants and beaches but amazingly very quiet ! All in all an excellent choice of accomadation would highly recommend

The Arena Dorada Orly Apartments can be easily found by driving along the Peurto del Carmen seafront oneway system and as soon as you get to Mc Donalds take the next left up Calle Tanasau (oneway) and they are right there just behind, The Apartments are great value, clean and quiet even though they are close to the main shops restaurants and bars, they are still peaceful, very convenient place if doing the Lanzarote Ironman!
The receptionist Lizzie is fantastic, and will try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is a small pool and restaurant on site, two internet computers in reception, They also sell the large wagons of water that saves you carrying from the supermarket which is only one block away anyway. All in all this is a really nice place to stay, theres not too much to do for kids as its a small complex but you are only a walk away from the beach. I had a ground floor studio E10 apartment for 10 nights and was very happy, quiet at the back of the complex, and my friend stayed in C19 up on the 2nd floor over looking the pool, bigger apartment and alot lighter. Id definately stay there again it was great value for money.

very close to the beach, very close to the shops, bars and restaurants, there is a supermarket just across the road one block, Very convenient for the Lanzarote Ironman, the bike transition is just 2 minutes down the promanade.

only one thing wrong they don't supply a kettle, otherwise a very enjoyable stay

Great restaurant The american indian diner,bottom of street two shops down,live music every night.
The beach is at the bottom of the road 60 yards away straight across the road.

Originally booked Arena Dorada but got switched on arrival which is common.
Panorama are great value for money, easy walk to old town and beach, rooms basic but more than adequate and the whole area is kept spotlessly clean.
No complaints and would book again,

Avoid and ignore compulsive moaners !!!!

Hotel room was very clean. Maid service every other day. Excellent location for everthing, beach, nightlife, restaurants. Friendly staff, Nice BBQ on fridays at hotel, good value for money. Only problem for me was no air con in rooms, but this won't bother everyone. Reception isn't 24hrs but provisions are made for guests arriving at unsocialable hours. 4 out of 5.

Best meal was at Universe which was located 50yrds from the hotel on the seafront. for cocktails American diner a few doors down.

German run, efficient, friendly, comfortable, quiet, good value for money.

Great beach within 200 metres. Restaurants and bars to suit all tastes within 100 metres.
