Flying to Faro
The walls that surrounded the town of Faro were built in Moorish and medieval times. The vestiges of the past are still to be seen in churches and museums, the refreshing verdure of a garden beside the lagoon and the sea and in the outline of noble residences that bear witness to Faro's splendour in centuries past. The narrow streets of whitewashed houses recall the town's Moorish heritage. These are among the sights to be savoured on a walk around Faro, a city where there is lots to see, to enjoy and to remember.
Faro is also your gateway to the wonderful Algarve. Due to the mild nature of the weather the Algarve is ideal for many outdoor sporting activities such as water sports, golf in one of the numerous world-class golf courses, tennis, horse riding, and many more. The Algarve not only known for its cosmopolitan nightlife with many bars and clubs but also for the many waterside restaurants serving fresh fish and "cataplana" (a local shellfish speciality).

This apartment complex was renovated in the year 2010 and comprises a total of a 5-storey main building and 74 apartments. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a currency exchange counter and lifts. In addition, a bar, a cafe, a restaurant, a games room and a TV room are also offered to guests for further entertainment.

All the Villas and apartments are fully equipped with air conditioning, frigo, micro wave, toaster and electric kettle. All the unities are very spacious with terraces and balconies. Vilanova Resort is one of the longest established resorts in the Algarve. Its 56 villas and 160 apartments, totalling 844 beds are centred around vast matured gardens and one of the largest swimming pools in the Algarve in all covering an area of 9 hectars. Our Snack Bar or our Central Bar is open from 09:00 to 20:00, depending on the season, where you can have light lunches and various snacks throughout the day next to the swimming pool.
