Flying to Kos
If you seek a Greek island, that not only has brilliant beaches that fringe almost the whole of the island, but one which also contains some of the most interesting ancient sites in the whole of the Mediterranean, then Kos could be the place for you. Kos has a well-deserved reputation for delivering a great holiday with limitless swimming possibilities. Kos town, with its colourful and bustling harbour, is an excellent base from which to explore the island and its varied landscape. Kos has been well-described as a holiday heaven and is an ideal place from which to do a spot of island-hopping, or to take the hydrofoil to Bodrum, the lively Turkish resort on the mainland.
Kardamena is the second most popular resort on the Island of Kos. It has a extensive fine sandy beach and all the facilities, including shops, restaurants and lively clubs, that the dedicated pleasure seeker might look for.
For that special evening out, enjoy a Turkish meal at one of the many fine restaurants in delightful Turkish village of Platani, a few kilometres south of Kos. This is surely an island with something for everyone, and one that you will want to return to.

The hotel is arranged in the style of a charming village complex with white and yellow single-storey dwellings. It is surrounded by wonderful gardens and offers fantastic views, and its excellent facilities for both children and adults means that it is particularly well suited to families. Facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock and a currency exchange facility. Guests may further take advantage of the TV lounge, the nightclub, the small supermarket, the boutique, the hairdresser, and the jeweller. Younger visitors may let off steam in the playground and participate in the kids' club activities. Culinary options include a restaurant, a self-service restaurant, a tavern, a snack bar, and a cocktail bar.
“ The hotel itself was fine; rooms spacious and very clean with good views. Food varied and of a good quality. A decent pool with plenty of sunbeds. Evening entertainment limited. The main downside was that the hotel was situated a good 20 minute walk from the local town along a poorly-lit, busy road with only partial pavements. Return taxi fare was 14 euros.

Superbly located, the hotel consists of a main building and 13 small, white annexe blocks and is renowned for its outstanding appointment with comfortable service. Guests are welcomed in the inviting lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, hotel safe and air conditioning. The hotel also features a cosy bar and a restaurant serving delicious cuisine.
“ We arrived many hours late due to Greek air control shenanigans - but no problem to the hotel 'checking in guys', who waived most of the normal procedures to enable us to get some much needed sleep quickly.
