Excellent hotel ...a bit out of the way but you know that when you book it and it has all the facilities
hotel was fantastic we stayed 3 days 2 nights having been in another resort
the food was 24hr!! catered for all from hot dogs and chips to caviar !! also had other resturants but you have to be there 3 days or more to access them.
could not fault a thing
hotel is BIG so there is a lot of walking to pools and all up hill!! gives you a change to work off your lunch
several bars and 2 huge tables to help yourself to spirits or wine
7 yr old daughter had a ball in the pools and enjoyed the entertainment at night
could do with tea making facilities in rooms !
siam park-excellent day out
Had a really good time.
The food was nice, and the speciality restaurants were very good (have to book in seperately).
The pools were nice, and great for a nice swim, with seperate ones for the little children. Enough sun beds for during the day.
The entertainment was ok, a band in the main bar area, and shows in the courtyard, and plenty going on for the children.
The room was large and very clean. Couldnt be faulted.
Close to the airport too, so not too expensive in a taxi ($30).
Would return!

The hotel was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The choice of restaurants were particularly good.
On a down side there is not much around the hotel to walk to however this is reflected in the description and other reviews so its certainly not mis sold.
The hotel is stageringly beautiful the food is magic it has a free bar from 10am until 11.30pm it is very clean once a week they make cocktails outside the restaurant before meals. A free bus goes somewhere every day we have very high expectations of a hotel we have been here now 6 times. One negative the keys for the rooms fit other rooms, we had this happen once and a couple we saw this time had someone walk in at 1.30am when they were asleep. The double door lock makes no diference and the reception told these people It must have been the staff checking something !! at 1.30am ?.
The problem is they are phisical keys and not electronic.
Magic cove and small village
It was a good standard all inclusive resort but little to do other than eat, drink and spend time by the pool. There is no beach or costal path to walk along and the neighbouring resort of Playa Pariso is a big grim!
Nothing special outside the resort
Enjoyed every minute of my stay. There was enough restaurants and entertainment on site to keep everyone happy. If need be and you wanted to look around elsewhere there was a free bus service available. Hotel even gave us a discount when Ryanair cancelled flights home because of ash cloud and we had to stay for another 4 nights. Also meet a nice Polish chap in sports bar called Bart (for short) he seemed to have command of at least 4 different languages possibly 5. He helped out when we were having telephone problems with our return taxi transfers. All in all an excellent place to stay
Had an excellent stay at this Hotel< this was my third time at the Bahia and it just keeps getting better.
Went for a few days with my sister and never left the hotel!
Food excellent especially the Asia and Italian Resturants !
Staff brilliant ... rooms excellent ....
Great value form money especially for a short break!
Weather abit cloudy but still warm!
Spa excellent!
Excellent hotel highly recommend it would go back. Food excellent, pools superb, service and rooms again excellent mini bar in room which is free and refilled daily, rooms cleaned to a high standard. I would rate as 4 star plus maybe even 5*, in fact the Tenerife which is the adjoining hotel (same brand) is classed as 5 *.
This hotel is excellent value for money for what you get.
Only draw back is entertainment at night is a bit limited and beach is rocky but there's a free bus to beach if you want to go thereas the pools are fab no need to go to beach
BOOk now!
Go to the monkey park only 10 Euros and excellent day out
the staff in the hotel were very good the service they provided was second to none, food was great, bedrooms lovely and clean with maid sevice every day.
the only problem was the location of the hotel you had to get a bus to the nearest resort hotel a bit to far out
I have stayed at the Bahia Principe a few times before and have always enjoyed my stay. Food is always good and the themed restaurants offer waiter service which is nice after eating buffet style. Themed restaurants are generally good, my favourite is the Spanish which serves a great steak !
Entertainment is quite, well, poor compared to the general feel and appearance of the hotel. Tends to be on quite late (2200 ish) and consists of local feelgood musicians. Not a lot for young people to do here, no disco's clubs etc so they would be better off in the main hub of Playa de Las Americas. No beach to speak of but a bus runs 3 times a day down to the beaches of Las Americas. Great walks down thereas well round th4 coastal promenade.
As Much as I lik the hotel I did feel that the rooms, well our room was starting to just get a bit tired. The beds we had were very lumpy and despite complaining nothing was done to replace them. All in all I like the Bahia for a quiet weeks break in the sun. DOn't go for any longer as the remoteness of the place will start to get to you ! lol
Cross the Barranco (valley) st the bottom of the notel and walk round past the Gran Nirvana Hotel. Some cafe's there with a small supermarket but nothing else to speak of in the vicinity.
The hotel was excellent in all aspects. The a la carte restaurants in particular were superb, we used the Mexican, Asian and Italian, and were very impressed with them all. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We liked the help yourself bar for wines and spirits, which we had not seen before in other all inclusive hotels. The adults only infinity pool was suitable for those who like a quiet time, but the main pools are great for families and those who enjoy participating in the animation activities.
A nice wee bar at the bottom of the street on the u-bend, overlooking the sea and with a great view of La Gomera. Very reasonable too - 4.40 euros for a pint of lager and a glass of wine.

Could not fault anything, the hotel was clean, plenty going on if you wanted to join in, lovely pool and fresh food which was yum. Evening entertainment not that good but didn't bother us. Really recommend this hotel.
Fantastic hotel extremley clean and good service from all staff
excellent hotel although entertainment in the evening is not very good
staff is very helpful - spanish restaurant is tops
The 2 hotels on this complex are wonderful, the attention to clendliness is great. An all inclusive paradise, a free bus goes daily to the main centres so you don't have to be too isolated. The food is 100% and the staff are great.
If you get a connection from the airport do not get the shuttle bus it is a 51 seater waits an hour for all the passengers and then deliveres them in small numbers to all hotels from next to the airport right to los gigantees. Our flight landed at 1pm and at 5.15 we were at El Duque the sun was down, we took our cases of the bus and got a taxi. I thought I would not live long enough to get my holiday.
No irons or ironing boards provided for rooms( Irons only from reception)
No coffee and tea facilities in the rooms
Average entertainment for an all inclusive hotel
