Has an excellent position just off Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. Close to underground / street car and tourist transportation. Good for sight-seeing and entertainment. Friendly staff, clean and good supply of towels and sheets. Rooms adequate but we did have to keep the curtains closed at all times as there is a construction site right next door and the builders were just a few feet from our window!
Good pub opposite; 'The Imperial' - that does cheap pitchers of beer and good portions of fries. Don't bother with the gravy though - YUK!
Try 'The Pickle Barrel' for good food at a reasonable price in The Atrium Centre opposite Eaton.
dont pre-book continental brekfast all you get is toast and crossants no variety
hard-rock cafe 2mins away
The staff at Bond Place are very, very helpful and friendly and for this reason I view rate the hotel as Above Average.
Don't take a habour cruise, take the Toronto Islands ferry over to Toronto Islands. It costs $6 for a return trip against $40-$50 for a 1 hour crusie around the harbour.
Very friendly helpful staff, rooms where of reasonable size very clean and confortable. Hotel was close to all local amenities and 2 minutes from subway station and Hard Rock Cafe. Brilliant location.
Top Tip, if you want to go to Niagra Falls take a 5 minutes walk to the Coach Station/ Greyhound and buy a return ticket to Niagra fro $34.97, when you get to Niagra get a shuttle bus to the falls, bus stops outside station in niagra, buy a day bus pass on bus for $6.00 unlimited travel. Do not bother with the tour it is a rip off for $60.00 for that price you get picked up from the hotel and dropped at the coach station that is the only diffrenance to doing it yourself.
