Nice place, very close to Flag Beach and about 30min walk to Corralejo centre.
Hotel was very basic cooking rings only got warm so not able to cook in the apartment. Nearest restaurant was approx 1km away nearest supermarket approx 1.5km away. I payed for bed and breakfast, breakfast we got about 10 am as this was the time it opened. Also breakfast was at the pool bar out side and cosisted of a cheese and ham toasty and a cup of coffee. I would not recomend this hotel unless you want the kite surfing. Hotel should be rated as a 1 star.
The only thing close to the hotel was the beach and the sand junes but these have no facilitys
Hotel wonderfully peaceful. A 40 minute walk from town so taxis needed, especially at night.
No shop on site anymore and costs for loaf of bread nearly 3 euros.
Lanzarote only a short ferry ride away.
Have a long walk along flag beach, it could almost be the West Indies with pure white sand and glorious views.
I thought the hotel was great for what we paid. The only thing was that it was a lot further from the city then it showed on the map, it took about 40 min to walk there and then 40 min back. The other thing was that the pool was ice cold, it would have been nice with a bit if heating. The kids pool was kind of dirty and really cold.
Nice beaches just around the conrner
There was a hole in the bath which someone had a poor attempt at repairing.
The cleaning staff and arrangements were very good.
It would have been useful to have a chopping board for kitchen use.
Some pool bar staff needed to be reminded when it was 'happy hour'.
Internet in reception was a bit unreliable and expensive.
The facilities were basic but that was what we expected although it wasn't until the final day of our stay that we realised that there was a small gym on site and other games facilities. These were poorly advertise as was the restaurant e.g. no daily menu on display.
The nearest supermarket is a good 20 minutes walk (one way) and the town centre 40 minutes (one way). This needs to be factored in especially if you really are intent on self catering.
Whatever my comments above the beach and hotel location in relation to that was fantastic.
would only rate it just a 3 star, and glad we did not have to pay for extra for the ants that decided to join us. The reception is not 24 hours as stated but we were able to get into the appt inspite of being the last plane in. Unless you are quite active a car is very useful as the path along the beach to the centre is very rocky. The walk to the beach on the right hand side of the appt is wonderful and takes you to a super place to swim, and relax most enjoyable.
as above with the beach, most of the restaurants are good, but the chinese buffett was most disappointing, Overall it wasa good holiday.
Extremely helpful friendly staff. Rooms were well equiped and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. Great views of Flag beach from the balconey.
Enjoyed the El Sombrero, Los Pepes and Avenida restaurants
3RD TIME BACK SHOULD SAY IT ALL,A NO FRILLS APARTMENT BLOCK ,BUT IN AN IDEAL LOCATION.
Apartment was fine, apart from two cockroaches on the first night (yikes!). Staff friendly, breakfast good and excellent location for getting on the beach! Swimming pool not available and empty for half of the stay, as they were repairing it. Not a problem for us, as we do not sit around the pool, but this would have been a big problem for anybody who does like a swimming pool.
Sand dunes at Corralejo - fantastic beach and a must for all beach lovers.
very clean quiet and lots of parking. a bit out of the resort but next to the best beach
Almost excellent but not quite achieving that standard because of small maintenance defects. Requested plug (missing) for washbasin twice but not rectified during the week. Door handle to bedroom had fallen off, missing bulbs and other small defects which could easily be rectified in less than an hour. This was the 1 bedroom apartment which is far superior to the studios, especially in location. There were 2 breakins to upper floor studios in the week before we arrived (as advised by mutual friends) so the security of studios is questionable.
Well worth hiring a car locally to reach the beaches further from the complex. The nearest beaxch to the complex is generally rocky and difficult for swimming; also mainly nude. However great place to watch kite-surfing!
Hotel was clean and friendly, good position for the white sands of flag beach.
Could do with a restaurant on site but in all it was a nice quite break,I would recomend this hotel.
Flag beach fantastic.
GREAT COMPLEX IN AN IDEAL LOCATION,VERY CLEAN WITH HELPFULL FRIENDLY STAFF,SITUATED ON THE EDGE OF TOWN,BUT ON THE EDGE OF THE SAND DUNES.
SO GOOD WE BOOKED AGAIN!!
AS FOR TIPS TWO GREAT RESTAURANTS FOR STEAK LOVERS ARE.
THE MIRANDER AL SUR AND THE AVENEDA BOTH IN THE BACK STREETS OF CORRALEJO BUT WORTH SEEKING OUT.
Very nice Clean apartments, we did have to move rooms though as cochroach in groundfloor apartment. Poolside toilets were clean but could be smelly sunbathing by them. The gym was not open at all during the week we stayed.
We had a great time, staff we nice and helpful, the hotel was clean, spacious and we had a lovely view of the beach. Quite far out of the centre but for us it was perfect.
Hire a car and go across to el cotillo for the beach.
A great relaxing holiday, with excellent restaurants.
Get to the beach before 12 to get a pod that shelters you from the wind!
these apartments are very clean and are in a great location views to los lobos are excellent the staff are very helpful and friendly more suited for those looking for a quieter break the town is taxi ride away if you want nightlife or a short walk if you enjoy walking and the beach is a stones throw away a great plkace to relax.
We were very very impressed with our appartment (205). The kitchen fittings and appliances supplied were perfect for a self catering holiday. The staff were friendly and curteous and the cleaners were excellent too.
We would highly recommend the indian restaurant called Bombay Palace, varied menu with excellent food and the staff were very helpful and friendly ; we also enjoyed our evening spent in the Rock Island bar which we found to have a lively yet relaxed atmosphere with superb live music.
