i stayed in the cliphotel in vila nove de gaia porto portugal and the hotel staff are amazingly friendly and warm.
there was great restrants and bars and entertainment
Nothing much to say, just another great budget city break. For the price of £46 per room per night we received everything what we expected in Clip Hotel - good night sleep, lovely continental breakfast, satellite TV in the room, free internet, nice service. Plus free fruits in the lobby to grab or water to drink. I really loved the location because the hotel is in the modern part of town and easy to access by metro. The receptionists were nice, we could store our luggages after checking out, continue using free internet in the lobby. I would definately recommend it for travellers who want to save.
PS. I missed a shower cap in the bathroom and as usually two twin beds instead of one double did not impress me much. But we were too tired to worry about all that :-)
Unfortunately, not so many places for lunch around. Because of siesta most of the places are closed in the midday, even Pizza Hut!
