Quiet location with excellent beach 10 minutes from apartment. Small selection of excellent seafood ( but quite pricey) restaurants nearby. Small selection of cheaper restaurants adjacent to apartments. Nice pool with ample sunloungers with areas suitable for small children. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms basically furnished but clean with nice balcony and with all you need for self catering. Excellent for families with small children or couples wishing to get away from the usual holiday buzz. Bus service to nearby resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and felt that the holiday was excellent value for money. How quiet and peaceful!! We are mother and daughter aged 55 and 25.
Excellent cove with soft sandy beach (10 minutes walk). Not overcrowded and ideal for sunbathing and swimming.
Reception staff very helpful - would recommend this hotel/apts to others
Although a 2 key apartment all the facilities we needed were there. The pool was excellent.
A great bar/bistro not too far away was the Bar Citrus run by English family - excellent food and service and good prices too!
my family did not enjoy the holiday at all. The airconditioning was not working there was no facilities for families no activities and all the residents were Germans and therefore the food etc was inclined towards them and not the English.
No
The apartment was basic but bright and cheerful with a nice balcony. The only problem was the noise from mopeds which, being on a road which was signposted as the only route to join the main road was a nuisance at certain times of the day. The staff at the hotel were helpful and it was less than a 10 minute walk from the excellent sandy beach at Cala Marcala.
The port itself is charming and is a must. The quayside restaurants offer good quality food at reasonable prices.
Transport from airport took about 1.75 hours each way as large number of drop offs - would hire a car next time.
Kitchnette was very basic with no grill, no kettle and no toaster.
hotel clean and tidy. well situated in the resort.
Tennis court recently up-dated.
pool area excellent.
there's great tapas bar called 51/2 bar nearbar food very good
We had a realy nice time in the Es Corso Aparthotel in Porto Colomb, however I would not recommend the resort as although it is a very scenic place there is very little to do, and even less on a night. There is however a good bus service very close to the hotel which runs regularly through the day but not on a night.
The Es Corso itself is very nice, with lovely clean airy rooms all the staff were very helpful and pleasant, the food is quite average and does tend to cater for the German clientel, however we could pick something out on most occasions
The hotel is very close to the bus stop, and you can get almost anywhere from here, the beach is about 10 mins walk away - but beware they charge you 11 Euros for 2 sunbeds and the use of an umbrella, not matter how long you stay
