Had a wonderful holiday at Gemelos 22 the lady met us with the key, and apartments are clean with everything you need and very modern plasma tv etc. Swimming pools
etc cleaned out every morning and grass mown highly recommend these apartments and booking with Travel Republic will be going again next year. Benidorm was
brilliant bit apprehensive about going at first but it was big clean and something for everyone

Top Tip Just up the road 5 minutes is China Garden best chinese ever and local bakery across
the road from apartments plus Union jacks for full english breakfasts

Appartments are very spacious and well equiped. The pool is very nice and the surrounding grounds are well maintained. We said it wasn't really suitable for families because even though they have a childrens pool no ball games or inflattable toys are allowed. There is not a full time reception which can be a pain collecting keys etc but when it is staffed they are very helpful and organised day trips for us.

Top Tip Beach, main square and old town in walking distance but the local bus is cheap and easy to use. Pubs and bars near to the appartments such as tropicana, friends bar and rachels's offer good entertainment and decent prices on drinks. We found a fantastic indian restaurant near the old town called 'spice of life'. food was fantastic and they had meal offers, we had 2 starters, 2 curries with rice and naan, 2 desserts(which we never managed to eat) and 2 free drinks for 23 euros. highly rcommend. For a full night of food, drink and entertainment we recommend Benidorm palace. Amazing night out to break up your holiday.

beautiful apartment and the complex itself could not be faulted - the picturs on the website didnt do it justice, immaculate grounds and beautiful pool areas - slap bang in the middle of everything - apartment immaculately clean when we arrived and clean towels and linen available - washing machine and iron etc so having two young children with us it was ideal to have these with us - supermarket just a five minute walk.

If I had one negative it was arriving late at night and then having to find my way to Buena Vista apartments for the keys and not having anyone to show us anything. However we managed. Everything ready at Buena Vista when I arrived and staff there were very helpful. I would most certainly stay there again and have recommended it to friends - first time I have used travel republic - would do so again - everything spot on. No safes in the room and dont know if there were any available so that would have been a help.

Top Tip China Garden - lovely food and staff are so helpful - three course meal including half bottle of wine per person less than 5 euros. Union Jack pub lovely and also Mad Munk - had a lovely sunday lunch there and the breakfasts were spot on.
A day out at Terra Natura was fantastic as was MundoMar and we also visited the Benidorm Circus which was well worth it. Kids loved it. (and so did I)

Enjoyed my stay but had a problem getting keys. I had to wait over three hours to get the keys. The agent would not answer the phone. i spoke to other people who also experienced problems with key pickup. loved the apartments but would not stay here again due to the bad arrangements concerning key pickup.

It was my first time in Benidorm - booked it last minute for a short Easter break. Excellent value for money(worked out £50 per night, for four of us) We stayed in 7C (the sofa bed could have been more comfy tho but was ok for just four nights) Really clean and excellent shower, nice views from balcony (although only 3 chairs! bizarre!) There was a TV with digibox (not sure on English channels (my brother kept watching The Simpsons seemingly in German and kept laughing every now and again!?! waiting for the "girls to dry their hair"), The Utility room boasts a washing machine, iron/board (not good in this apartment - it was a cheapo tesco iron that had seen better days) clothes drying rack, handwash basin (beware of children going in this room and closing the door on themselves as the door only opens from the outside although great for locking in a nagging husband as it's surprisingly soundproof! Door to apartment double deadlocked and solid so felt secure. There was a safe but no key (maybe you have to ask for this) We arrived early and didn't realise it was a 4pm check-in (I never read the instructions lol) They were ok about this but it was pointed out when the lady came with the keys!! You can pay your deposit in Euros or Pounds (we arranged for the money to be returned the evening before as we had an early pick up. No problems (just phone when you arrive and be patient- and remember this is Spain not UK!)
The location of the apartments from street view are to the right of The Dynastic Hotel (bright orange balconies -cannot miss it) The entrance is approx 3 metres wide in between 2 shops just right of The Union Jack cafe (good for a cuppa tea but didn't eat there) The complex was really well landscaped and clean and the heated covered pool an extra bonus in the colder months. The are also 2 tennis courts, a place to park your mobility scooter, car park, children's playground, and secure entrances.
20 mins stroll to old town but Gemelos 22 apartments really close (5mins) to the far end of the lovely Levante beach. (i think buses stop outside but we liked walking)
Would definitely book again with Travel Republic at this price! I did see it on another website (in euros)- but that only reserved the hotel for you but I wanted a definite booking and payment before I left.

Top Tip We booked transfers via resorthoppa £16pp return from Alicante - but the location of the hotel meant always the last off and first pick up so the transfer can seem v long (just over 75 mins not the advertised 45)
if you are hiring a vehicle there is parking available but this costs a bit extra.
Cheapest taxi with this website was £120 return for upto 4 adults so not too bad either.
One euro a pint in quite a few places - cheapest Strongbow £2.40 a pint. Go to the tapas bars in the old town - local wine is lovely and many for 1euro - we went to Patrizzi and then to a more expensive one mainly for the food(opposite Olivers and Rainbow british pubs) It was expensive but excellent tapas!
Dont eat anything at the Duke of Wellington Pub on the Calle del Puente ( upstairs pub green windows, left of MacDonalds in old town). It boasts home cooked food but everything about it was awful. Mashed potato cold - sausages the cheapest of the cheap, tinned or frozen overcooked veg, home made chicken and mushroom pie had a tasteless goo binding it all together. After all that walking you must try the churros and chocolate in the outside cafe (Pink sign beginning with C on the corner at end of main wide shopping street- you can watch them make it!) v naughty but yum! Closer to the Gemelos 22 apartments a really excellent chicken fast food place but real chicken. Its a red facade, name begins with M - 2 streets down towards the beach on Calle Gerona. The chicken baguettes/kebabs were awesome! not fatty and lots of rotisserie cooked lean chicken with loads of fresh salad. Garlic mayo a plenty so ask for it separately in a tub and apply your own! Oh and if you like Karaoke - the Triangle bar down the avenue and left had a lively atmosphere and prices reasonable.

The apartment was very good with lots of bars and shops close by. Our family enjoyed the pool area and indoor pool. We would book again.

Top Tip The top tip is find out where to get the keys as we just missed the reception time closing at 1pm. We were advised to go to a place near the beach which was closed until 4pm and then found out the collection point was just along the road from the apartments.

Clean and tidy apartments. Easy access to all amenities. 150euro deposit required and refunded on departure. Be aware of reception opening times if you have to leave early.
We went over the new year and the weather was excellent but if we had to stay in it would have been a bit boring. There isn't a lounge area to sit and mix. The TV only got foreign channels.

It's been many years since stayed in self catering accomodation and was not disappointed. Arrived at lunch time and collected keys from reception at appt only a few minutes walk away. Apartments spotless & loads of space. Pool area and gardens excellent. Location good, 2 minutes away from indoor & outdoor markeks. Only 5 mins walk to beach and supermarket & bars all on the door step. Only down fall was that the appt did not have any english speaking channels on the t.v and our balcony was closed in which coud have been a problem had it been the summer months, don't think all the balcony's are like this.
Great holiday, weather fab for time of year.
would stay at these appts again

We visited these apartments the first week in December, they were clean, spacious and really well equipped (washing machine, iron and board and full kitchen.) The balcony was really big (big enough to sun bathe.) We will definitely be going back next year. They are more like residential apartments and are gated.

Top Tip We visited the Union Jack bar nearby which is great for that morning fry up and late nightcap and the staff are really nice.

Pleasant apartments in a quieter location but near to all ameneties.
Imaculate and clean if not a little on the smaller size
Overall extremely good value for money and you will not be dissapointed.

Top Tip Less than a 10 minute walk to both the beach or square.
Happy days !

Found the hotel a long walk from the beach and the main nightlife on the square, although very nice apartments and pool constantly seemed to be cleaqned.

Top Tip Try the Geordie Bar, great food, just a few minutes walk towards the beach. If you've had a few too many drinks in the evening get a taxi back from the cafe benidorm square area, as quite a lengthy walk.
