VB.Net or C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server Web Developer

We are currently looking for a number of Mid and Senior Level Developers to hit the ground running.

Core essential skills include VB.Net, C#, SQL Server – ideally with experience in an Agile/Scrum environment (although this is not essential). Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Experience of XSL would be a benefit.

Aside from being technically competent in the above, you must be passionate about developing IT solutions and have a desire to develop outstanding applications. This is a great fast paced team to work in and with this is mind we are looking for likeminded individuals, who view their career not just as a career, but a way of bringing your hobby into the workplace!

You will be responsible for design and development of innovative client facing travel based web sites. Developing, maintaining and improving internal systems (payments engine, accounting systems, extranet, hotels, flights systems etc). Of course you will be involved in continuous improvement of our legacy systems too.

You may have worked as part of a team or at team lead level. As we are looking to fill a number of roles, your experience will of course be hands on, but we are keen to hire a number of individuals that have a broad range of experience. If you have experience of developing in an enterprise environment of highly concurrent websites it will be a real advantage. As we are a Microsoft house you will be an expert on Microsoft systems.

Web Tester

Are you looking for an opportunity where you can make a difference in your role? Are you a dynamic, results focussed Web Tester with a keen eye for detail? Do you have strong Web Testing skills and experience gained from an Online Business?

Do you want to work in an organisation that values its IT Team? After-all we have over 38 people in our IT team and due to our growth, development and new projects in the pipeline we are looking to grow this department to over 50 staff this year.

We are seeking Web Testers who have been carrying out Testing on web based applications. You should have experience of writing and executing test scripts as well as tracking bugs. We are ideally looking for Web Testers who have had experience of working in an agile environment. In your current role you should be working on testing web applications through the full testing lifecycle.

As a Web Tester you will work alongside a professional team of testers and developers ensuring websites are delivered to the highest standard. This is a very fast paced environment with weekly releases so you must have worked in a fast paced environment previously.

We are looking for Web Testers that have at least 3 solid years experience, with a good university degree. You should have strong working of SQL. All of our development is carried out using Microsoft technology in .Net and C#, with Java Script.

You will be responsible for analysing requirements, carrying out Test Case Design, execution and exploratory testing, functional testing. Testing manually, selecting tests for regression and raise defect reports. If you have Automation testing it would be ideal. If you are ISEB Qualified it would be of benefit.

We are looking for enthusiastic hands on individuals, with a real passion for Web Testing, Someone who enjoys working to solve problems and being part of a multi-functional team. You will be self motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, proactively reporting on status and tasks. As a Web Tester you will have excellent communication skills, and able to communicate to all levels with ease. You should be capable of working to strict timescales and have very strong time management skills.

• At least 3 years commercial software testing experience in a Microsoft technologies Online Web Based business
• Transactional, functional, manual and exploratory Web Based Testing experience (Automation Testing ideal but not essential)
• A strong interest and passion for testing, with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Self motivation, great communication and the ability work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• An organised and logical mind, a high level of numeracy
• A strong academic history with a good degree (or equivalent)
• Solid SQL experience
