FlyGlobespan customers to get full refund from Travel Republic
Independent online giant TravelRepublic.co.uk is refunding all customers who booked FlyGlobespan flights through them.
The failed airline FlyGlobespan entered administration on last Wednesday (December 16).
Travel Republic managing director Kane Pirie, commented: "More than one million people book through us each year and we have been working around the clock to help those impacted by the recent failure of FlyGlobespan.
"Customers who booked through us are delighted they have not lost the money they paid for their flights."
Travel Republic has already refunded many customers and has promised to complete the process before the end of next month.
Travel Republic pioneered its own Total Financial Protection scheme back in January 2009 to protect passengers booking flights directly with an airline. There is no legal requirement for protection for these passengers.
This simple scheme promises the customer their money back if an airline, hotel or other travel provider fails.
