“ The hotel is right behind the cathedral, and has a metro station 1minute walk from the door. A nice selection of hot and cold foods at the buffet breakfast, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There is a roof top restaurant with lovely views over the cathedral.

“ This was easily the best hotel I've stayed in and the 5* rating is well deserved. The staff were the friendliest, most attentive and helpful I have come across anywhere. The restaurant and bar are stunning - set on the 18th floor with panoramic views of the city.

The hotel is located in the heart of Vienna, directly opposite the Stadt Park, within easy walking distance of St Stephen's Cathedral, the world reknowned State Opera House and the main shopping streets, Kartner Strasse and Graben. The rooms are all very well maintained and decorated to a high standard. Bathrooms are in excellent condition. Deluxe rooms are more spacious than the standard rooms. “ The outside shows a typical modernistic 50s-70s build top hotel, strange surrounded by all the Baroque buildings...however wait to be truly surprised....the inside tells another story...extremely luxurious with Grand Opulent Bars, Restaurants and Cafeterias, all done out in that typically Austrian Baroque grandeur.

“ We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Plaza on our first visit to Vienna. The room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast lovely. The concierge was extremely helpful and enabled us to check our flights in online the day we had to leave.
