Although the hotel was set an a gorgeous location, perfect for those wanting to get away from it all. It was limited due to its location which meant walking out of your hotel and going for a meal elsewhere wasn't really an option.
We were given what they called " an upgrade" to their sister hotel The Imperial I asked why and they said they could give us a better room with a better view as we had arranged for a garden view at the Eva palace. They told us that Eva Palace was a 4 star hotel to 4.5 star !!! NEWS TO ME !!! We went to the other hotel feeling please with their offer. However we moved back and complained as the Imperial is dreary and a flash back to the 80's in terms of the room accommodation !!
Don't go to this hotel unless you go ALL INCLUSIVE which we didn't but quickly upgraded to (they wanted to charge us 65 Euros per person per day but they accepted 45 euros pp per day. When a plate of chips costs 6 euros and simple rum and coke 12 euros we thought it a good idea to go all inclusive once we got there as we didn't realise how far it was from any where. To go for a buffet dinner every night would cost 74 euros for two people.
How ever despite our bad start, we really did enjoy our stay in the end. The pool area is lovely with a great pool bar and stunning views. The food is lovely, nothing outstanding but pretty good.
GO ALL INCLUSIVE !!! IT'S A VERY VERY EXPENSIVE HOTAL ....
Yes the water is 50 metres from the sea but it is unkempt and dirty.
