The hotel is ideal for families and couples looking for flexible accommodation close to the beach where they can spend a relaxing holiday. The fully air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 50 apartments and studios and facilities include: lobby, hotel safe, currency exchange and a restaurant.The hotel is only 100 metres from the beach in the tourist area of Amoudara and 3 miles from the centre of Heraklion. The beach is the longest in the Heraklion area and is lined with bars, shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes as well as local markets.The modern apartments and studios all offer individually adjustable air conditioning, en suite bathroom with shower, TV, direct dial telephone, safe, kitchenette, fridge and a balcony.The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with a children's paddling section, as well as a poolside snack bar.
“ The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff cannot be faulted. The room was kept clean etc however, the bathroom was a bit below par.The menu for half board guests could have been more varied but that having been said the food was good.

“ I used it for a short stay after a late arrival at Heraklion Airport. The staff were very welcoming even late at night. As on a previous occasion the rooms were spotlessly clean and just as described. It was a good value stop over hotel . i did not use it but is on the direct bus route to the airport.

“ Reception staff & house keeping are very polite,welcoming & made stay pleasurable. The Bungalows had wood lice & ants and request's were made a couple of times to change bed covers because they were covered in ants.

“ Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Neptuno Beach, hotel was clean and food and drink plentiful. There's not a lot in the way of entertainment or shops in Ammoudara but we were just happy chilling out. Reception area could do with being a little bigger with more seating as this was the main area that people converged during the evenings.

The hotel is located on a quiet side street that leads from the high street of Ammoudara to the sandy beach. Heraklion is 5 minutes away by car or bus, as Ammoudara blends seamlessly with the city. The neat, whitewashed rooms are nicely furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with air conditioning, fridge, and balconies with nice side views of the sea down the street, or the street itself. The hotel is a 3 storey cream and white building, with arched windows and a nice garden in the back where the swimming pool area is. This hotel is a family run property that will appeal to those who are looking for tranquility and genuine Cretan hospitality. It's very close to Heraklion and even closer to the beach, making it ideal for those who want to combine a visit to the sights and markets of this great city with the laid back lifestyle of suburbia (06/08 EP) © Donvand Limited 2012

This is a terrific hotel for couples and families with well equipped studios and apartments and boasting a friendly staff with warm hospitality and excellent service. Guests to the Imperial Studios can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas and "ouzerias", lively nightlife and attractions. If you want an unforgettable holiday, the Imperial Studios provides everything you need in sunny Crete. Heraklion Airport is 12 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Amoudara is a fine Blue Flag awarded beach located in the Gulf of Heraklion, 5 kilometres west of the capital. Due to the location of this property and the absence of ramps and lifts it is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.
“ Excellent, But depends what you are looking for. The hotel has great hospitality; we were welcomed with a nice cold beer on our arrival and treated by first name basis from day one. You quickly get to know everyone else at the hotel especially in the evenings at the sort of communal meal time (excellent food).
