“ The novus city hotel was chic, modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. En suite was spotless and shower was refreshing. The rooftop terrace was spectacular, looking over the ancient acropolis and much of the city.

“ The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were great. The room we were appointed was large with a huge balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was good but lacked any hot food. The pool was dirty but maybe that was because it was the end of the season.

“ I very much liked the hotel. The staff were very pleasant. My room was nice and quiet. The area was not the best and guests would be advised to be careful at night especially. Convenient for the tube and for getting to where I wanted to go. I would stay there again.

“ Not the most helpful (perhaps because we were the only people in the hotel for the first four days!); bedhead dusty. Breakfast disappointing: no breakfast one day! Very close to metro which was handy.
