“ I had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Exotica, Kalimaki, from May 25 to June 2, 2011. All staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful at all times.

Close to Kalamaki beach, this modern property, surrounded by beautiful gardens and exotic trees, offers comfortable accommodation in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Close to the hotel you will find a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The famous beautiful beach of Kalamaki is just a 10-minute walk away, the main town of Zakynthos is 5 km away and the airport of Dionisios Solomos is only 3km away. The family run Sofia's Hotel consists of 4 separate buildings set between gardens and a swimming pool. All rooms have own balconies. At the complex there is a sports bar with entertainment and a supermarket. Within the Hotel complex you will find a pool side snack bar offering breakfast/lunch/snacks from 8.30am until 5.30pm. In the evening you can relax by the pool with a long cool drink.

This simple, family-run accommodation is well situated, close to the beach and within walking distance of the resort centre and a good variety of bars and restaurants. Located just off the main Kalamaki-Laganas road, 1.2 kilometres from the unspoilt Kalamaki beach, 1.4 kilometres to Laganas resort centre nearby and 200 metres from shops and tavernas. Please note: This property is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The traditionally built Anagenessis Village Hotel is located in the village of Kalamaki, on the southeastern side of Zakynthos (Zante) Island. The hotel is a miniature version of Old Zakynthos and is surrounded by lush vegetation.
“ I loved the hotel and setting, so peaceful no passing traffic. The staff cannot do enough for you, rooms are cleaned every day the pool is very clean. It's about a 20min walk too the main strip there are a few restaurants along the way. Beach is a further 10mins but worth it. Taxi rides are normally 6euros to the main strip.

There are 95 guest rooms at this club resort. The premises are air-conditioned and guests are welcomed in a lobby. 24-hour reception and check-out services are available. Facilities include a currency exchange, cloakroom and lift access. Other facilities include a mini market, satellite TV in the TV lounge, car hire and safety deposit boxes at the reception (a local charge applies). Guests can wine and dine in the bar and restaurant. The hotel's young friends can spend their time happily in the children's playground. Internet access, a laundry service and a car park are also on offer and bicycles may be hired on site.
“ Perfect for us - a couple in our early sixties. Very quiet (which we like) and very friendly with many returning guests. Sister hotel nearby with more entertainment and beach a short walk away. Will definitely return.

Kalamaki Beach Hotel has been refurbished in 2010, and is located 1 km away from Kalamaki resort. The hotel is built close to the beach in an area of 10,000 sqm among beautiful gardens and offers magnificent views of the Ionian Sea. Kalamaki Beach Hotel has its own â??tavernaâ? which is situated on the beach and is open all day serving traditional dishes and also international cuisine. The town of Zakynthos is 4 km away and the International Airport is almost 2 km away.
“ The hotel is now very chic looking very clean and tidy although basic But then most of the hotels in kalamaki are! Receptionists Sofia and Denise are fab as was Ria but sadly She's not working there now! All staff very very friendly and very Helpful!

In the surrounding area of the Hotel, a small playground amongst the green will provide our small visitors with the most unconcerned moments of joy. Other facilities such as 24 hour service, valet - laundry, baby - sitting, car rental, secretarial services, banking facilities, safe deposit boxes (extra charge), daily post facilities and on call doctor are also available.
“ Great place to stay, close to ariport (10 mins transfer in taxi-no need for official transfer, costs about 15 euros) and very close to beach (2-3 mins walk). Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is more than adequate and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Located in the south of the island, this hotel is situated 5km from Zakynthos Town, 5 km from the main port, 2 km from the airport, 100 m from the beach, 100 m from the bus stop and 500 m from the centre of Kalamaki. It is in a quite location back from the road. Although Kalamaki is the closest resort offering shops, restaurants and bars, the more lively resort of Laganas is a short taxi ride away for those looking for more nightlife. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style and very well maintained. Each has air conditioning facilities, mini bar, digital telephone centre, television, music, balcony and comfortable bathrooms. This is a low rise pale pink property built in a modern yet traditional Greek style. “ This is a very lovely hotel. Rooms are very adequate and very clean. Poolside area is great with a bar for snacks and drinks. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We were worried about going 'all inclusive' but we needn't have.
