“ A very good hotel which we were pleased to stay at and would definately recommend, however, this year we stayed in what they call the 'comfy rooms', (apartment type within the hotel grounds). Although the apartment was 'comfy' it was adequate.

“ Many steps and no lift so unsuitable for elderly and disabled. Food OK but repetitive. The butter pats in the breakfast room were often rancid. You can pay extra for a better selection of food and table service in alternative restaurants. The local drinks were acceptable but the red wine varied from bottle to bottle, some was ok but some not palatable.

“ The Hotel is lovely with comfortable beds and flat screen television. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately there is no mirror in the bedroom so awkward when drying your hair. We had breakfast a couple of mornings and it was adequate.
