“ Overall very pleased with this hotel. Very good spot near bus and railway station and good starting point in exploring Venice. Disappointed that a room with a view, i.e. Grand Canal, had a supplement of 50 euros a night which is prohibitive. Helpful and friendly staff and we would recommend and go back to this hotel.

“ We stayed in the Hotel Continental for two single nights, on pre-cruise on 26th August and one night post cruise on 3rd September. The first stay the hotel reception were not particularly friendly, and dont really make much effort to understand English (but guess really, it should be us making the effort with Italian, but hey !!).

The hotel is adjacent to the hotel Bonvecchiati and situated within easy walking distance of San Mark's square and The Venice theatre. Rooms are different in size and are furnished in a modern style with contemporary and elegant furnishings. All furnished in light colors giving a quiet atmosphere. The hotel has no restaurant and breakfast can be enjoyed at the adjacent Bonvecchiati hotel. The exterior of the building isn't too dissimilar from most of the other architecture in Venice. The lobby is medium in size and furnished in a modern style. Large columns surround the hall, the comfortable sitting area is composed by sofas and coffee tables surrounded by evergreen plants.
