“ My husband and I stayed at the Palace for four nights. We were treated with great care and attention ,the staff on reception were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is excellent. great variety of food. All and all the entire staff were lovely and always had a smile for you. we enjoyed our stay and would definately go back.

“ Were put in a 2nd floor room first night, which suffered from road noise. Our next 5th floor room was much quieter. Rather shabby bathroom, but room pleasant and clean. Maids were very concientious.

The Hotel Fortina is situated on the waterfront in a quieter part of Sliema, with Sliema's shops and facilities just 400m away. It is a property with an edge because the facilities are amongst the best in its class for a four-star hotel. Guests are able to do as much or as little as they choose, with ideal facilities for relaxing or active types. The Fortina overlooks the island's majestic capital Valletta and has some great views from the front, out to sea and over to Marsamxett harbour. The atmosphere is a very relaxed feel and the overall ambience is mellow and sophisticated. The resort has established itself throughout Europe as one of the best short break spa treatment centres, and offers treatments of all kinds to suit all budgets. Décor is elegant and designed to relax the senses.

Rocca Nettuno Suites is a modern and yet charming four star boutique style Sliema property, having forty modern suites spread out onto five of its floors. The suites are spacious, and equipped with a vast range of comforts to meet most guest needs. All accommodation levels are serviced by two stairways and two elevators that lead to all floors. The hotel’s entrance area hosts a reception desk that is manned on a 24/7 basis, providing every possible assistance to its visiting guests. At same level are the hotel’s café and food outlets, as well as a cosy TV-lounge. All Wine & Dine areas provide an array of typical Maltese snacks and beverages, and the possibility of a meal within a casual dining ambience. Internet and Wi-Fi facilities are also on hand at ground floor level, for guest and client use

“ Situated in a quiet area about 10 mins walk from the sea. The junior suites were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was extensive and seemed fresher than some I've had in other hotels. I would happily go back to this hotel.

The Hotel Fortina Spa Resort is the 5 star area of the Hotel Fortina. It has a separate reception and enjoys a series of privileges not available to guests staying in the sister hotel. It is set in tropical gardens overlooking the Sliema waterfront. It is centrally located close to shops, bars and the harbour front, and about 300 metres from the shopping centre.
“ very nice hotel, but there was a few negatives considering this was a 5* hotel , eg no lock on bathroom door, packets of crisps left on cupboard (could have thought were complimentary) only saw minibar later.

The Hotel Entrance, Reception & Lobby Area, 7th Floor Penthouse Dining Room, Sun Terraces & Whirlpool have also been refurbished giving the Hotel a new fresh look. The Milano offers 106 modern and beautifully designed rooms, all with recently refurbished private facilities, most with balcony.
