“ the hotel was clean and good, the staff friendly and efficient it was noisy at times as many young athletes celebrated before leaving the evening meal food could have been better but overall a good holiday

The Hotel Alcazar is located in Monte Gordo which has one of the most beautiful beaches of Eastern Algarve in the bay of Monte Gordo, surrounded by excellent, unspoilt natural areas.The Hotel Alcazar is approximately 30 min. away from the Airport, 0.3 km to the city centre and just 300 m to the sandy beach. All guest rooms have private bathrooms with a bath, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar, safety deposit box. To relax you can use the large area of green space, or use the free wireless internet. * Some services at an extra charge

“ Wonderful olde worlde hotel with relaxed ambience. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Friendly staff eager to help. Has all the facilities you could need. Good selection of food at meal times. Most importantly, it is so well run that it seems to run itself.

“ the hotel was a very pleasant surprise close to all amenities. The appartment was really spacius, well furnished and exceptionally clean. We had a poolside view which I believe is the quiet side of the hotel.

The hotel, which was renovated in 2009, has a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, providing pleasant moments of leisure to its clients. Is the ideal place for those who need to rest in a very quiet environment, surrounded by beautiful gardens and with direct access to the beach. The hostelry has 22 rooms and 4 suites overlooking the sea, as well as a bar, restaurant, conference rooms, games rooms and a private car park.
“ The Hotel Turoasis was ideal for us. We prefer smaller, unsophisticated hotels with no modern frills. The hotel was quiet when we were there (great for us) and we were well looked after.

“ Excellent value for money. From the outside hotel looks a little tired, however internally clean, spacious and updated. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Very few British guests therefore breakfast mainly continental (although still very good and variable).
