Beautiful position and very nicely traditionally appointed rooms with 3 star facilities. However, most other things were poor: no coffee with the breakfast unless you were lucky, stroppy waitress (one for all guests), no coffee service at all when requested on the patio later in the morning; couldn't exchange money on a Sunday; four female employees regularly fugged up the atmosphere in the public space in the lobby with chain smoking mid morning. - Oh, and a wedding reception till 3 a.m. with loud music in the breakfast room on the Saturday evening, when we were told there was nothing they could do about the noise. Very little for breakfast if one arrived after 9 a.m. (supposedly available till 11). Altogether pretty awful services. So ok if room only required. There was a party of about 20 of us (perhaps not all booked with you) - so something more was needed than what they provided.
Fantastic beach just outside the hotel and great bay for swimming in - great for all, and resort very Spanish . Expensive restaurants all along the seafront but some good ones all the same (and some not so good).

The food was below terrible and the restaurant is only open at certain hours in the day. If you don't have a car there is really nothing to do. There is little help from reception with no knowledge of what is available in the area, the internet in the room didn't work, the shower floods and the toilet was tempremental. There was no compensation or appology. Very dissapointing.

I can't fault the Jorge I hotel in Campello, Alicante. Lovely, clean rooms; excellent food and friendly staff. Excellent location - only 2 minutes' walk from the beach where there are numerous restuarants and cafes. Also very handy for bus and train links, shops and the local market (Wednesday mornings) too. I hope to return soon!
