“ The room was adaquate but very small, the balcony was not suitable to sit out on as the fumes from the boilers were very strong. We were on the ninth floor above the kitchens perhaps? Room 907. Christmas Eve evening was super, free bar til midnight, but Christmas Day was deserted.

Laundry services and medical assistance are available for hotel guests. For younger guests, there is a playground and a kids' club.

“ Our stay at the Barcelo Cabo de Gata was absolutely perfect. This was by far the best hotel we have ever been in (and we've been in some very good ones). You quite simply couldn't fault it. The staff were so attentive and polite and helpful, nothing was too difficult.
