The Sol Gavilanes is the only hotel in Cala Galdana located right on the beach. “ Excellent hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Very good food with a vast choice. Wonderful view from terrace, restaurant and front sea view bedrooms. View from side sea view bedrooms also good, but, more restricted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful place.

“ excellent appartments, higher quality furnishings than usual and spacious. very close to the marina but in a quieter location than harbour side. staff very helpfull. Menorca is lovely but you will need to hire a car if you want to see the island without restriction on where you can get to by bus.

“ We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights at the start of October 2011. We were fortunate with lovely hot weather so we were able to take advantage of the terrace area outside the restaurant for breakfasts and dinners, overlooking the beach and sea, which was great.

Hi! Binimar Apartments is a modern apartment hotel in Menorca, located 300 m from the beach, 50 km from the airport and 500 m from a shopping center. It is recommended for families with children, offering a wide range of services for them, from baby sitting to children`s club, playroom, playgrounds, children`s pool and cot hire.
“ Decent accommodation, could do with a few odd jobs such as loose skirting and leaking shower hose. Though the hose was fixed within the day. Nice little arcade for kids. Kids loved the bird sanctuary. Pools were ace, small pools perfect for kids, large ones nice and deep.

The Sol Milanos Pingüinos is the only hotel located right on Son Bou beach, the longest beach in Menorca, some 2.5 km. in length. It is the ideal place for young families as the beach slopes gently into the sea. Son Bou is an Area of Natural Interest (ANEI) with the largest wetland on the island (located in the interior) after Albufera des Grau and it has an important area of dunes, as well as rich flora and fauna.
“ Excellent location, good food, nice pool area. Plenty to keep small children happy. Rooms are a little tired; especially the bathroom. Due to its proximity to the beach I think they need to employ a 'towel collector' to prevent many of the residents reserving prime location sun-beds around the pool (not the largest area), then disappearing down to the beach for many hours!!!
