The Sol Lanzarote hotel offers a peaceful beachfront location in Matagorda, simple self catering accommodation and plenty of entertaiment and activities, just perfect for families. Shopping Centre 200 meters away. Bus stop 100 meters from the hotel. 3 km distance from Puerto del Carmen, 5 km from the airport, 17 km from the Costa Teguise golf course, and with easy access to the most important tourist attractions on the island.
“ Excellent hotel, spacious roms, clean and well presented pool area. Stayed with my girlfriend, we are both early 30's and found the hotel idea for our needs. Only thing I would mark the hotel down on would be evening entertainment which seemed (we didn't watch all of it) poor.... Will definately return!

Bearitz Playa & Spa is a modern style building situated in front of the beach and promenade of Playa Matagorda in Puerto del Carmen. The hotel boasts 404 bedrooms which are all equipped with telephone, television, air conditioning, minibar and a terrace/balcony most of which offer a sea or swimming pool view. There is also a bar and restaurant on site along with an outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and Jacuzzi.
“ Friendly staff generally.I think they could have explained things a bit better when we arrived.For example the safe in the room needs to be paid for -3 Euros per day and activated by your room key-this was not explained so we had a friutless 20 minutes trying to work the safe which was de-activated.

“ i went on own to get away from rat race and have to say it was great. just 5 mins to beach, bars and supermarket. nice quiet safe area. close to bus stop. lovely pool. mostly couples. the sisters at reception could not be more helpful.

“ Good sized pool with plenty of room for sunbathing and very clean. Pool side bar only opened from 9.30 - 1.30 and stopped serving food after 12. Apartments were clean.

The Sol Morromar Apartments are located near the beach and a large shopping district just outside Puerto del Carmen. The hotel offers 2 swimming pools, bar and a supermarket along with a multi-purpose sports court. The hotel has a garden providing the perfect place to relax. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a separate living room, bathroom, terrace, television and telephone.
“ for a 3star, good, very clean linen and towels changed frequently. food good enough, u wouldent go hungry but it was almost always could, there was a microwave, but one shouldent have 2 heat up food at every meal. all in all we enjoyed.

The complex boasts 58 one bedroom apartments, all of which have been carefully decorated and provide the perfect place to relax. “ Lovely basic apartments, cleaned regulary and bed sheets changed every week. restaurant good with a reasonable menu, staff very polite. about 300 yards to the nearest beach and restaurant area. only a slight incline back to the apartments. pretty good for wheelchair access, with only the first incline a bit steep to reception. the area is very quiet.
