The hotel was in a really beautiful setting with views over a reservoir and a mountainous backdrop.Situated in the hills about an hours drive from Malaga it is definately not your typical tourist hotel. Believe English owners or English people with a financial interest, it is run by Spanish people with very limited knowledge of English. This added to the fun trying to make ourselves understood and by the end of the holiday we were ordering, or trying to, in Spanish.

The rooms were basic and open plan. Although the two bedrooms and the living area and the bathroom were seperate the walls of each did not go right up to the roof. They were more partition walls with no ceilings. This was okay and probably kept the whole place cooler but we would have preferred a ceiling on the toilet!!!!

The food at the hotel restaurant was of a good standard, but we did find a lovely restaurant up in the hills about a 20 minute drive away called Bellarocca. It is well signed posted. A hacienda type building with a large covered terrace with stunning view over the hills surrounded by Olive Trees and Fruit trees and Almond Trees. Nearby are some lakes again with stunning views. We went there often to laze, pic-nic and swim. Plenty of walks nearby. Not your typical tourist area but will go again.
