This attractive beach hotel offers a total of 968 double rooms spread over 3 buildings of 5 floors each. There is a lobby with a 24-hour reception, lifts and a currency exchange desk available. The spa hotel also offers a health and beauty centre with a range of treatments such as wine, mud, chocolate and milk applications and much more. Further facilities include a nightclub and younger guests are offered a playroom and a kids' club. Other facilities include an air-conditioned restaurant, laundry and room service as well as a car park and garage (charges apply).
“ On arrival, upgraded to all inclusice (from full board) costing 14 Euros per person per day. Well worth it because drinks were expensive. Rooms were quite sparce but comfortable and clean. The food was fantastic. Plenty of choice and well prepared. Be prepared to either queue or eat late as hotel was full. Staff very helpful

“ This is our second year in La Pineda, first year at this hotel. The hotel was clean and tidy at all times. The reception staff were great and extremely helpful. Once we realised we were on the 5th floor we asked for a room on a lower floor as we have a adventurous 2 year old.

The Best Sol D Or hotel is located between Salou and La Pineda, and is just 50 m from Raco Beach. It enjoys an excellent location, as it is close to many golf courses and is very close to both resorts. The hotel is ideal for relaxing holidays and offers many services such as gym, restaurant, swimming pool for adults and children, a comfortable lounge and many more. All rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The distance to the airport of Reus is 15 km and to the airport of Barcelona 100 km.

Staff, excellant The way that the transfer pickup time was faxed over to the hotel 24 hrs before departure was very reassuring and saves you phoning 24 hrs beforehand as well as being apprehensive that they understood you and had your confirmation in hand.

This air-conditioned establishment offers 62 fully equipped holiday apartments which are ideal for all the family. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. A self-service laundry room is available and there is a WLAN Internet zone in the lobby. The Admiral bar/restaurant features an air-conditioned terrace overlooking the pool area. Further facilities include a games room, children's playground, cafe and garage.
“ The apartments were very clean, very spacious, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. These apartments are not on the beach, 10 min walk to resturants and five min to beach, would recommend Michael Angelo Supermarket for groceries and fab bakery will certainly be back next year

The hotel complex lies on 20,000 me of grounds with 3 buildings and comprises a total of 452 guest rooms. The impressive reception hall is fitted with a 16 m high transparent dome, large windows and a grand staircase. Guests are offered a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom and lift access, as well as diverse shops, a games room and a hairdressing salon. For drinks and dining, guests can make use of the hotel's cafe-bar, pub/nightclub and the dining halls "Fidias", "Olimpo" and "Neptuno". There is also the restaurant "Palas", open daily and offering e la carte meals in an exclusive atmosphere. For conferences and other events, there are 4 banquet/meeting rooms. For younger guests, there are organised children's activities and a playground. In addition, room and laundry services, as well as Internet access and parking facilities, are offered.
“ Ok so it was mid october, the resort was very quiet ! The hotel was very nice, good rooms but very firm beds !! Nice food, always something being cooked fresh in front of you ie chicken, beef, pork, nice fresh salads available.

“ WE stayed in late october so it was quite quiet but still enough going on to keep you busy. the weather was awful but the hotel was well worth the money. would go again.

“ The hotel is lovely especially spa which is child friendly with a great `rapid river` type area and lots of different bubble areas. The hotel is however situated close to a three star hotel which was noisy most of the time with the entertainment going on till 11.
