3 Star Agenda Hotel in Juniper Green
This was a wonderfully modern hotel in a great location
4 Star Apex City Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
3 Star Apex European Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
The hotel staff were very friendly. We arrived in the morning and were allowed an early check in. The room had a lovely flat screen tv. The location was quiet. A nice 15 minute walk to Princes Street.
4 Star Apex International Hotel in Edinburgh
We have stayed several times in this hotel, and have always been pleased. The rooms are very comfortable (our room had a lovely view of Edinburgh Castle), the staff are attentive, and the hotel's restaurant is excellent, if you don't want to go out to dine. The breakfast too is always delicious, and you eat it looking across to the castle. A wonderful way to start the day. And you get a rubber duck!!
4 Star Apex Waterloo Place Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
Apex Waterloo Place was an excellent hotel. Best cooked breakfast I've had for a long time in a hotel and all staff helpful and friendly.
5 Star Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh
1st class hotel and service.
4 Star Barcelo Edinburgh Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh
2 Star Beresford Guesthouse in Edinburgh
The hotel is well situated just 15 mins from the castle and offers basic but comfortable accomodation. The rooms are a good size with all the facilities you require and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can even start the day with a full breakfast to keep you going through the cold days in this beautiful city.
4 Star Best Western Bruntsfield Hotel in Edinburgh
3 Star Best Western Edinburgh City Hotel in Edinburgh
Very nice room for the price, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay.
4 Star Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh
The hotel was ideal for our visit to Edinburgh. It was within easy walking distance of all the main attractions but was quiet and peaceful. The room was well appointed and the staff attentive and helpful.
3 Star Borough Hotel in Edinburgh
Very disappointing. Hotel has really slipped in standards since previous visits. Dreadful breakfast. Shame - used to be a gem.
2 Star Cairn Hotel in Edinburgh
The hotel is basic but is only a 10 minute walk into the city centre. It was quiet at night, but within walking distance of lively pubs, clubs and restaurants. The hotel staff were always very polite and were happy to look after our bags in a locked luggage room after we checked out as we had a late flight and wanted to do some last minute shopping and site seeing. The only downside of the hotel was that we had booked it as a B&B with Full Scottish Breakfast. On arrival we were told that the breakfast would be continental instead. This wasn't a major problem as there was plenty to choose from and set us up for long days out in Edinburgh.
4 Star Canon Court Apartments in Edinburgh
The accommodation at Canon Court self catering apartments is of a very high standard with comfortable furnishings, including bed, and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was 100% clean and in excellent condition. For anyone considering a trip to Edinburgh, it is an excellent location, being near the city centre, but also the beautiful Botanical Gardens, the Water of Leith, and many lovely restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking at the apartments.
3 Star Capital Hotel in Edinburgh

Excellent room facilities. Restaurant v good. Staff excellent.
3 Star Edinburgh City Centre Haymarket Premier Inn Hotel in Edinburgh
The hotel was fine. Great breakfast. Problem was I had to forego the second night stay due to a late change of work requirements and when I enquired about cancelling 4 days before the trip I was told that I would get no money back because I had booked through you and Jumbo Tours. Had I booked direct I could have cancelled and got a full refund. So, next time I will book direct.

2 Star Edinburgh House Hotel in Edinburgh
2 Star Ellersly House Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
I was disapointed with the room. Luckly we were only staying One night. The shower didn't work and the bath was very small. The overall look of the room was shabby and in need of attention. It was very clean though and the staff were very nice and the breakfast was excellent.

5 Star Fountain Court Eq2 Apartments in Edinburgh
We got a great deal on this apartment booking with Travel Republic saving us nearly £100 on the price listed on the ir own website.
3 Star Fountain Court Grove Apartments in Edinburgh
The hotel was dirty. They lost our booking on arrival and we had to stand in reception for about half an hour with our bags. The corridors leading up to the apartments were filthy and when we got in it wasn't much better. The fridge was covered in old food and the cushions on the sofas were covered in stains (not sure what of but wouldn't like to guess!) The plugs didn't work, the TV was falling apart and the stereo was also broken. We were staying in apartment 206 and although 208 was better (the other apartment we had booked) - it wasn't that much better in terms of hygene. Compared to other city apartments that I have visited in London, Liverpool and Manchester - this was extremely below standard
4 Star Fountain Court Harris Apartments in Edinburgh
4 Star Four Hill Street in Edinburgh
A lovely place just a few minutes walk from the shops of Princes Street. More a B&B than hotel, just a few rooms beautifully decorated in period style in an old Georgian Townhouse - lots of charm, very comfortable bed and modern bathrooms. Great breakfast - lots of choice and freshly cooked/prepared - you need to be rather sociable though as all guests sit around one large table in dining room. Would go back again though would check if same management as we stayed here Feb 2010 and saw that it was up for sale so it may change hands in the future.
4 Star Fraser Suites Edinburgh in Edinburgh
Clean and attractive, fantastic location and nice staff
3 Star Frederick House Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
Lovely hotel the breakfast was delicious would highly recommend this hotel it's location was spot on, was worried about parking but we arrived 6 30pm and got parked outside hotel all night free and moved car in morning really happy. Thanks
3 Star Gillis Centre Hotel in Edinburgh
Great value for money. Rooms were nicely furnished.
5 Star Glasshouse Hotel in Edinburgh
Very nice hotel, but wouldn't rate it as 5 star. Complimentary champage in room on arrival which was a very welcome gesture.Breakfast very enjoyable, staff couldn't do enough for us.
4 Star Globetrotter Inn Hotel in Edinburgh
Great youth hostel with lots of facilities. Laundry, massive kitchen, bar, pool table, movie and tv rooms, internet cafe and even a small grocery shop. Would recommend to anyone. :)
2 Star Grassmarket Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
the hotel was budget but what i expected and i would stay there again
3 Star Hanover Hotel in Edinburgh
First the positives.Location very good ,near bars and restaurants. Now the negatives. We were allocated a top floor room at the front of the hotel. The room was clean although very small. It was difficult to sleep at night with all the street noise even though the room windows were closed. The staff were non existent no one to explain what the hotel had to offer.I reckon this establishment is more like an upmarket hostel no way is it a 3/4 star hotel. For the price we paid #99 for room only I am sure there are many more better class hotels in Edinburgh.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless they were looking for a backpackers hostel. For shopping
3 Star Haymarket Hotel in Edinburgh
Room was above average but breakfast only average or a bit below
2 Star Herald House Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
We were impressed by the staff in particular - all very welcoming and pleasant. The Hotel was also kept very clean. Breakfast was good - the supply of hot food was a bit hit & miss, depending on the volume of guests wanting fed at the same time - but you could therefore be sure that it was freshly cooked. We intend staying again, which we haven't said about other accommodatiion we've had in Edinburgh on our 4 previous visits.
5 Star Hilton Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh
Superb location and very friendly helpful staff. Good quality accomodation. Super large bedroom wit view down princess street. Leisure facilities also used although these are small and were fairly busy. Drinks in bar expensive but you would expect that in a 5* capital city hotel
4 Star Hilton Edinburgh Airport Hotel in Edinburgh
3 Star Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Edinburgh
the hotel was lovely stasyed before and felt the hotel lived up to its expectations.
4 Star Holiday Inn Edinburgh Hotel in Corstorphine
hotel was up to a good standard.but when we stayed in january all the main areas were cold which put you off having a meal or a drink in the hotel
2 Star Holland House - Serviced University Accommodation Hotel in Edinburgh
Very good budget accommodation, well located next to Holyrood Park and with easy walk or bus to city centre. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, but with the vast numbers catered the quality was not great - saved by loads of fresh fruit and reasonable coffee.

4 Star Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh
The flat was great, really handy for the station and centre, yet it was in a quiet street. All the facilities were excellent, everything clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly - I would highly recommend it and I will certainly be going back. The pièce de la resistance was the breakfast hamper! fantastic!
3 Star Jurys Inn Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
hotel is in a brilliant location. couple of minutes from royal mile and 5-10 minutes from prince's street. The reception staff were excellent. we arrived at hotel at 9.30 am after an early morning flight just to leave off our bags but were pleasantly surprised to hear that we could check in! no complaints at all. rooms spacious and breakfast was first class. definately recommend
2 Star Kaimes Guest House in Dalry
friendly staff big room and very clean bathroom door difficult to open not sure about the breakfast - porridge was pretty terrible
4 Star King James Hotel in Leith
Hotel lacked any festive atmosphere. The dining area was draughty with ill fitting double glazing panels at the windows. The dingy bar was uninviting and cold. Food was average and definitly not festive fare, as advertised. Bedrooms were excellent. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful.
4 Star Lauderville Guest House in Edinburgh
Very clean and warm hotel, choice of meals for breakfast good, would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again, staff friendly and helpfull

4 Star Mackenzie Guest House in Leith
We stayed at Mackenzie Guest House on September 2009 and it was a very good experience. It is a family business operating in a large house with good sized rooms and the bathroom is only shared with 1 more room. They served full cooked Scottish breakfast but there are other breakfast options too. The staff were very attentious and helpful and the place is very tidy and clean. It's located very near a bus stop with easy access to city centre (less than 10 minutes on the number 15 bus) and in front of a beautiful park in a quiet area. Simple, easy and comfortable. For 3 tourists who wanted to get to see Edinburgh in 3 days, it was excellent.
4 Star Malmaison Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
Highly recommended at these rates. Edinburgh a great place for a city break - lots to see and do. Malmaison chic and comfortable in the developing Leith former docks. Plenty of free parking at hotel and number 22 bus only 2 minutes away - £3 all day bus travel very good value. Plenty of good pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets. Malmaison not cheap at their top rates but some excellent B&B deals.
4 Star Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel in Kirknewton
4 Star Marriott Hotel in Juniper Green
we came up from glasgow to spend valentines nite it was great!!!had a great nite!! bed was so comfy! parking, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room is complementary - cant complain! Breakfast was nice... had a great nite. buses run along the main road into town to around 12 and taxi home is around £12.00 not bad!! as like any other hotel if your planning a wee nite away staying in the hotel could be a bit expensive, but the bar is lovley and up to date!! great place would go back again!!!
3 Star Melvin House Hotel in Edinburgh
there is a great pub called BAD ASS which served up good nosh.we went to see the ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA, down at LEITH, well worth avisit, + the castle.
4 Star Menzies Belford Hotel in Edinburgh
3 Star Mercure Point Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
nice hotel,my room was bit small
3 Star Murrayfield Edinburgh Hotel in Corstorphine
A great, good value hotel, with easy access to the city centre using Edinburgh's fantastic bus service. The standard double room we had was clean, spacious and lovely organic products in the bathroom! Breakfast was excellent with a self-service buffet...it is worth getting there early as service for coffee and toast suffers when the dining area is full. We would stay here again without question.
4 Star Nicolson Drummond Street Apartment in Edinburgh
3 Star Northumberland Hotel in Edinburgh
4 Star Norton House Hotel And Spa in Kirkliston
The Norton House is an excellent hideaway. They go above and beyond to help when required.
4 Star Novotel Edinburgh Centre Hotel in Edinburgh
Great Amenities, 15 min. walk from Haymarket station, very quiet and close to restaurants and shops.
4 Star Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel in Edinburgh
Most things OK/Good Tea & coffee served from FLASKS at breakfast - not good Leisure facilities have mixed-sex changing rooms with few private cubicles
3 Star Old Waverley Hotel in Edinburgh
2 Star Parkview House Hotel in Edinburgh
I realy enjoyed my stay at park view guest house and happy with the cheerfull welcome we got on arrival.
3 Star Parliament House Hotel in Edinburgh
This hotel was clean and tidy and of average quality. The location was very convenient for getting around the city. One word of warning would be that there is currently a building site directly opposite this hotel on one side. I had to get up early on Saturday anyhow to meet friends but the workmen started their construction work at 7.30am! If I had wanted to lay in I wouldn't have been best pleased as even with the window closed it was very noisy.
3 Star Picardy Place Hotel in Edinburgh
Overall very pleased with the hotel felt the price was good for the size and trendy style of the room. Very quiet hotel with only four rooms staff very helpful and friendly, staff leave you to it (only saw staff twice in whole stay but easily contacted by telephone). Little kitchen in room was handy for breakfast with a basic continental breakfast provided. Bedding all clean and fresh except for a make-up stain on the bed throw. Only real complaint my girlfriend and i had is that on the first day of our stay the bathroom bin wasn't empty and toilet roll was at a minimum as well as the fact the bathroom door stuck easily and the door into the bedroom from the little entrance hall didnt shut at all. Wouldn't say its ideal for older couples as the rooms are at the top of the building without a lift. Great views from our room over the firth of forth but i think only two rooms come with the views. Location is ideal for the city centre, lots of restaraunts close by and the more lively parts like Rose street and Georges street a 10 minute walk away. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone in the 18-30 age group. If i plan to go back to Edinburgh this will be the first place i'll check for vacancies.
2 Star Piries Hotel in Edinburgh
Rooms spotless towels changed every day and rooms cleaned every day room adequate but small for double no Scottish breakfast
3 Star Premier Inn Lauriston Place Hotel in Edinburgh
Great location for the attractions of Edinburgh. Very close to all the entertainment, Grassmarket, Castle etc, but not so close that you can't sleep for the noise. Food good, drinks are reasonable, rooms are very comfortable, and the staff very attentive.
3 Star Quality Edinburgh Airport Hotel in Edinburgh
very convenient for Edinburgh Airport with free bus to terminal
4 Star Radisson Sas , Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
3 Star Ramada Mount Royal Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
Excellent location with lovely views from the rooms at the front of the hotel. 5 minute walk from Waverley Station and regular buses from outside the hotel to all tourist attractions, although most are within walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast, rooms comfortable, clean and warm. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay there again.
2 Star Regent House Hotel in Edinburgh
I didnt have a very nice experience in this hotel!! The room wasnt very clean and also we have to share the toilet (a TINY box room with nothting but a toilet in it) with 5/6 other rooms and then also the shower as well. None of this is very clean or hygienic. The Room was freezing. There was an inch thick of dust on the carpet (never in my life have I seen this before) also lots of dusk hanging from the heater which couldnt be very safe!! Definitely WOULDN'T recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!!
2 Star Rimswell House in Edinburgh
Steep stairs, in room cubicle for en suite, limited breakfast,no porridge and this was scotland. only scrambled or fried eggs no boiled or poached.
2 Star Royal British Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
Very pleasent staff but my room backed on to The Penny Black pub and it was incredibly noisy all night so was unable to sleep at all.

Staff were Friendly & very helpfull.Room was great
2 Star The Clarendon Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
The room is clean. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The only thing is that there no table. I had my laptop with me and there's no where to use it.
4 Star The George Hotel in Edinburgh
Just returned from a 2 night break in the George Hotel, Edinburgh. The hotel is very central, being just a couple of minutes walk to Princes St. We found the hotel staff all to be very pleasant, well mannered and helpful. We had booked a standard room which if I was being critical would say a little on the small side, (although certainly adequate) but really clean with a good hot shower. Breakfast was very good. All in all, very pleased with The George and would love to return again.
4 Star The Glenora Guest House in Edinburgh
The hotel was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and hosbitable. We had everything required for our short break. The only complaints I can make is our room was on the top floor so it was a trek to carry the pushchair and suitcases up and down. The bathroom was tiny (cupboard size) and the shower tap was leaking which made the floor in the bathroom wet (floor mat was soaked through)!. I did mention it to reception and they said that their handyman was due in to fix it.
5 Star The Number 10 Hotel in Edinburgh
It was an unusual experience. It is a very small boutique style hotel - perhaps more an upmarket guesthouse in many ways. Our room was in a seperate annexe two doors along from the main hotel and was two steep flights up, there was no lift. The room itself was very nice, large with a lovely jacuzzi bath at one end. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room cleaning was a little suspect with the wrapping from the plastic tumblers being left where they had been prominently placed by us. The bar was also the dining room and there was no atmosphere at all. We had a drink there one evening and were the only patrons. The breakfast was a little disappointing as I had expected it to be good. The cheaper quality orange juice being openly dispensed from cartons into the jugs in view of guests did not help and nor did the kipper being akin to the size of a sardine. It was 'sold' as a five star establishment. It was nice but not our idea of a UK five star hotel. For less money we could have stayed in the Caledonian Hilton or the Sheraton or the..... but No 10 was different!
2 Star The Richmond Hotel in Edinburgh
4 Star The Roxburghe Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
beautiful very clean and tidy staff all were very helpful great breakfast
3 Star The Royal Scots Club Hotel in Edinburgh
Lovely elegant old building. Staff very helpful and courteous. Room rather small and a bit faded but bed very comfortable. Good breakfast Excellent value for money in the centre of Edinburgh and we would go back
4 Star The Royal Terrace Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
An excellent place to explore Edinburgh from, close to amenities but relatively quiet with great views over the Firth of Forth. Walk anywhere within city Within a 10 minute walk or less to the Edinburgh Castle.Would stay here again.
5 Star The Scotsman Edinburgh Hotel in Edinburgh
This hotel is not 5 star have previously stayed at the Scotsman whilst on Business,It was great! never again...rooms obviously not cleaned very well as we found a dirty sock under one of the bedroom chairs. My breakfast was cold following a long wait, had to remind staff to eventualy receive a hot breakfast when it did come the bacon was missing from the eggs benedict? When we complained to the manager he said he could not adjust the cost of our stay as we had booked through yourselves, He offered us a free lunch which we could not take up anyway as going home ! so probably wont book through yourselves again incase anything goes wrong.
2 Star Travelodge Edinburgh West End Hotel in Edinburgh
This is a new travelodge ,to there normal basic -but clean standards. There is no close bus/travel links so these are about 10/15 min walk away. The breakfast is ok but pricey for what it is at £7.50. The main drawback is there is one electric radiator in the room,no heating in the bathroom and even if you leave the heater on day and night its still COLD so you will need to keep warm even in the room with a fleece. etc
