excellent hotel.Top breakfast with lots of choice.Very clean and spacious rooms.Only down side was hotel was quite expenisve but there was also a £7.00 car parking charge on top of the bill which i thought was a bit steep given the proce of the hotel.

The Hotel was good and I had an enjoyable stay. However, the hotel was particularly quiet, perhaps not surprising for a Tuesday in mid February (?). This seems to have resulted in the bars closing at 10:30, which is very early for a city centre hotel and was disappointing, particualry as the hotel makes considerable effort on its website to stress the quality of its bars and lounge area. In addition, one of the 'advertised' bars Harri's Bar was not open at all. The room was very comfortable, very well decorated (in a Beatles theme) and with good facilities. The breakfast (self service) in the main restaurant (Blakes Bar) was more limited in terms of choice and attention from staff, than I would have expected from a hotel of this standard.

We arrived late Thursday night, only to find that our room had been double booked and we had to move to another hotel!! The staff were very apologetic and dealt with the mistake well, but it was not ideal. We stayed in a much cheaper hotel but were told there was no refund. On the one day we did stay at the Ramada they then put us in a beautiful room overlooking the bay with a complimentary bottle of wine!
