The hotel prides itself on ensuring a warm Northumbrian welcome awaits all guests. Built using the reclaimed stones and beams from six church ruins the Hotel features a modern Leisure Club with pool Jacuzzi sauna and air-conditioned gym. We have our own integral pub; the Grouse and Claret that serves fine Northumbrian Fare while more sophisticated dishes are served in Guinevere's Restaurant. All of our bedrooms feature one or two double beds and we boast five suites. Five cottages are on-site and can be booked for weekend and week long breaks. Discounted tickets are available to purchase for local attractions that are ideal for families. We have discounted tickets for Beamish Open Air Museum The Highland Cattle Centre and Diggerland to name but a few. Nearby Derwent Reservoir offers fishing and sailing.
