Four of us stayed here for a long weekend of skiing. The rooms were comfortable, clean, warm and en suite with a bath - not spacious but bigger than most chalet type of rooms I've stayed in. Given that the 4 of us paid only £20 each per night for B&B there is really no room for complaint.
Some reviews have been critical of the food. The breakfast in our opinion was very good with the usual continental selection and also a hot option of bacon, sausage and beans all served on a buffet basis. The evening menu looked more than acceptable and if it was of the same quality as the breakfast it would have been reasonable value for the £10 per night half board supplement.
Perhaps the hotel has improved its food offering based on previous reviews.
The hotel is only a 250 metre walk to the Arinsal gondola - so a good location.
All in all and for what we paid I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a ski holiday in Arinsal.

Top Tip: Don't be afraid to go B&B there are several places to eat in Arinsal. We ate at the El Moli a couple of times. Check out Arinsal.co.uk for more.... We hired lift passes from them also and got a small discount on the resort price.

Hotel it self was great and better than expected. Food was a big let down though with the main courses being awful. My wife and 15year old daughter ate very little of these meals. Service at the bar was slow and occasional. Improve the meals and service at the bar and you have a hotel which could easily be rated an 8 out of 10.

Top Tip: Gondola is not very far at all. Leave your ski's and boots at the top station in lockers available to rent and you can enjoy a relaxing walk around the few shops, bars etc. Walk up the hill to the chair lift is not so easy.

great value 3 star hotel.above average compared to other 3 star hotels i have stayed in.breakfast was great,a wide choice and plenty of it.dinner was good[apart from the choice of sweet/dessert]hotel was kept in immaculate condition ,so clean and warm.its only 300m or so down hill to the gondola[4 min]best pick a room at the back due to traffic/delivery drivers in the early mornings.CAN RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.ARINSAL GREAT FOR BEGINERS BUT NOT MUCH SCOPE FOR MORE ADVANCED SKIERS/BOARDERS

Top Tip: go to ciscos bar[near to gondola entrance in arinsal.also keep your skis/boards on the mountain in lockers for a small fee 9 euros a day[we got 4 sets of equipment in.

The Hotel was exactly as advertised. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and it was a plentiful, including Continental breakfast with croissants and french petite pains and chocolate filled pastries, jams and honey, cold sliced meats and sliced cheese, hot bacon and scrambled eggs, toast and tomatoes, cereals and an option of 4 fresh fruit juices, freshly ground coffee, decaf instant coffee, various teas, hot and cold milk and even sachets of Nesquik for the children too. It was buffet style and you really could stay for as long as you wanted at the table between 8am - 10.30am and eat & drink as much as you wanted, to set you up for the day.
We ate out at night in order to see more of Arinsal, so we couldn't comment on the reataurant in the hotel for an evening meal - but if the breakfast was anything to go by, it would have been fine. You could have a 3 course meal for 18 euros each.
This stay was only a two day stop-over whilst driving back from staying with relatives in Spain for 2 weeks. We thought we would try Andorra out and we loved it! We would have no reservations about staying in the Xalet Verdu again in the winter months, in order to try out our first Skiing Holiday next time.
The booking through Travel Republic was really easy & was at a very good price, especially as it included such a lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommendable all around.

Top Tip: There was a nice chinese restaurant in Arinsal calld the BAMBU. We had a lovely meal there on the second night.
