The Hotel was exactly as advertised. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and it was a plentiful, including Continental breakfast with croissants and french petite pains and chocolate filled pastries, jams and honey, cold sliced meats and sliced cheese, hot bacon and scrambled eggs, toast and tomatoes, cereals and an option of 4 fresh fruit juices, freshly ground coffee, decaf instant coffee, various teas, hot and cold milk and even sachets of Nesquik for the children too. It was buffet style and you really could stay for as long as you wanted at the table between 8am - 10.30am and eat & drink as much as you wanted, to set you up for the day.
We ate out at night in order to see more of Arinsal, so we couldn't comment on the reataurant in the hotel for an evening meal - but if the breakfast was anything to go by, it would have been fine. You could have a 3 course meal for 18 euros each.
This stay was only a two day stop-over whilst driving back from staying with relatives in Spain for 2 weeks. We thought we would try Andorra out and we loved it! We would have no reservations about staying in the Xalet Verdu again in the winter months, in order to try out our first Skiing Holiday next time.
The booking through Travel Republic was really easy & was at a very good price, especially as it included such a lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommendable all around.
“ Top Tip: There was a nice chinese restaurant in Arinsal calld the BAMBU. We had a lovely meal there on the second night.

“ This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and each time it has not disappointed. The location is great just a minute stroll from bars and restaurants. We go here as we go skiing and again it is just a minute stroll to the gondola. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this hotel to all ages.
“ Top Tip: Gondola near by. Great restaurants include: Surf and Ciscos. Bars: Moli's and Quo Vardis. Near to Andorra centre as well for shopping.

“ Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and very clean. Despite being at the front of the hotel very little noise filtered through the windows. The spa facilities were good, it was necessary however to ask at reception to have the sauna and steam room switched on but we were not initially aware of this.

The St Gothard is one of the most popular hotels in Arinsal.
