Euro Ski Hotel

“ Rooms were both comfortable - quite large and modern with very nice bathrooms but the beds were hard and there was a noisy fan cutting in and out all night below us. The food choice was good but sdly the hot dishes were often luke warm due to poor buffet hot plates. Overall fine for a week skiing - staff very friendly and helpful, good facilities and good for families. If you are not fussy about food and like volume then you won't go hungry here but you might not sleep too well

“ Great modern and comfortable hotel. Good facilities and great selection of food and drinks in the restaurant and bar area. Something to suit the fussiest of diners! Great quality and variety as well. Only down side, was the cold jacuzzi and turkish bath and the fact that the steam-room was out of order for the whole of our stay.

“ We are a family of five with teenage children - the hotel was adequate for our needs.
The staff were friendly and helpful especially the reception desk, who were always ready to give helpful advice. However, the restaurant found it difficult to cope when the hotel got busier and the staff were stressed and noticeably less friendly. This was half term week and the hotel initially had more groups of younger people. However by Mon/Tues lots families arrived and perhaps all wanted to dine at the same time. The restaurant was struggling to cope. Food variety was good each day - with something for everyone - but sometimes ran out and took a little while to get replaced.
Avoid the pool/spa at half term it is not very big and full of children leaving sauna/steam room doors open - crowding out the jacuzzi etc.
Despite this - i would say we had a very enjoyable holiday - and the hotel was perfectly adequate as a base for a great skiing holiday - we did have a car (parking available).

“ The hotel was better than I was expecting. There was a buffet, hot and cold, for breakfast and dinner. The was a good choice of food to suit everyone. There were two mini-buses which took you to the gondola, the earlier you were in the morning the smaller the queue. We didnt really like the bar in the hotel, but the hotel next door had a good bar.

“ Top Tip: You could catch a bus into Soldeau on an evening but the last bus back to El Tarter was at 10pm (much too early). Anyway, it took us 20 minutes to walk back, downhill all the way. There was a supermarket close by and the hotel next door had a good bar. For lively nightlife you need to go to Soldeau.
