“ The Hotel was ideally placed for the gondola however it was a little dated and the bar area slightly stark. The food at breakfast was okay but there was always a massive queue for the coffee machine. It was a different sorry in the evening and after one try we decided to eat out even though we had booked HB.
“ Top Tip: Great restaurants nearby are Fat Alberts & Cort Poparie. the villager pub is great for après ski drinks.

“ Top Tip: Ask for a room on floor 2 or 3, not 1 directly above the Iceberg pub, very noisy!!

An older hotel in need of updating and not really a true 4 Star. The room was comfortable if a little tatty, but the main problem was noise from adjoining rooms and especially from the corridor. The walls are thin and the hall way into the room would benefit from an extra door to provide sound insulation.
The food was good and plentiful but nothing special and I think that families with younger children may struggle to find something for the kids to eat (unless they like Catalan/Spanish cuisine).
Rooms at the back of the hotel enjoy sunshine on the balconies and have a great view of the mountain and the ski slopes. Rooms at the front overlook the main road and the bars over the road.
