Good things - Clean and friendly staff. Close to gondola.
Bad things - Hard beds, terrible food for dinner and very smokey as many people smoking cigaretts in the hotel. Also made us pay 25 euro to store skis as wouldnt allow us to take to our room.
Would stay again but only if much cheaper than other options available.

An excellent homely, friendly, family run hotel. Good food, warm comfortable rooms, very friendly efficient staff and management, ski locker and garaged parking.
Excellent location just off the main street but only 100 yards from the gondola. 15 yards from the bus stop.
“
Top Tip:
Happy hour in the Ice Berg up until 6.30pm can be a bit raucus ! but is very popular and worth visiting to save loads of apres ski money.
The post office/shop across the road from Hotel Maistre stocks everything and good prices.

“ Hotel is very close to very noisy nightclub which does not close until 4am, so it is very hard sleep as people hang around outside all night shouting and cars pull up hooting ! Main meals are very disappointing , starters and desserts are very good.Breakfast is good too.Apart from the noise at night the hotel is very well positioned for the gondola and ski hire, ski lockers, shops, and bars .

“ Overall hotel was excellent value for money. Centrally located and very close to gondola for skiing. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly enough. Would definitely use again.

Top Tip:
Bar called Fat Alberts very close to hotel had a bistro restaurant that was easily the best food we ate in Soldeu. Slim Jims next door was also pretty good and excellent value for money.
Don't use ski hire shop next doors Pic Negre 8, as I had my skis stolen on the first day and they charged me 400 euros. The man in the shop extremely rude and aggressive!
