Galley Bay is a lovely hotel for couples or friends. The hotel was eveything we expected. The standard is what you would expect for the cost. The food was excellent and no buffets! Premium brand drinks and decent wine all included.
Sitting right on the beach was fantastic for an early morning walk. No real entertainment or music in bars etc so if it a party atmosphere you are looking for it is not really suitable. Only negative is the lack of hot water/pressure in showers and being charged $25.00 for three hours in a cabana and $25.00 for each hour thereafter for late departure. Our flight home was not till 20.30 and check out was 12 noon. After spending a few thousand on the hotel it was a bit much!!

"The Mayor" taxi driver works out of Galley Bay and has a clean minibus taxi in great condition. He is full of local knowledge and has a great manner
Trips around the island are easy to arrange. Ask for "The Mayor" for taxi's and Sean will meet you on the beach for exceptional boat trips.
