Nearness to the beach is not relevant- not in a coastal resort.
Room was overlooked by the rooms next to it, so we needed the curtains closed.
Staff were excellent, food excellent, huge range at breakfast and evening meals were available(not advertised?). We highly recommend the chef Agostin.
Trips, taxis etc were all booked efficiently, and for the Boat trip to the glaciers, staff advised us to wait until we had done the bus trip on day 1 to see if we still wanted to go on the boat next day- so we were not "pushed" into a trip! (We did go-superb!)
Room was cleaned thoroughly and regularly. A good experience.

Glacier trips by bus and boat well worth doing.
Chocolate shops in town very good.
One restaurant gave us poor service so obviously we didn't go again.
