Stayed here twice in a week. 2 nights first then 2nd for 3 nights.
Both times had an executive room.
Both experinces were diffrent.
First one was fantastic... room big and clean and all staff frienldy ...however i was asked for a $780 bond only $150 the second time for some reason????
Second time room was a bit smaller and it lacked the exectuvive feel.... small things such as no cork screws... no dressing gown and i had to request twice for someone to reset my inroom safe as it was still locked from previous guest... on second day my room was not serviced and i had to request someone to empty my bins and vacum my floor. The 3rd day i phoned and requested it to be serviced before my return from the beach... and it was.
Had access to executive lounge and all staff friendly except on older asian person (glasses) from day one i felt he juged me and made me feel uncomfortable around him.... he never once asked if i wanted a drink despite throughing him self at the men in suites.
Overall good rooms, good location and most staff ok (despite it seemed 99% of them dont speak english as there first lanuage which did get frustrating at times )
Pool area was not well maintained... ciggarrette buts all over the floor and in pool it self.... never used the pool because on this howevever did sit up there and enjoyed the view and sun.

if its not right ask for it to be fixed.... hotel not cheap so get what your paying for .
Paddysmarket 10-15 min walk away .. great for cheap tacky souvieners

“ Fantastic hotel with great views overlooking Hyde Park. The service was excellent and nothing was to much trouble, my younger son had to complete some work and the business centre had very good facilities and met his needs. Would stay again.
“ Top Tip: Drinks outside the opera house was very relaxing and we had a great meal in Darling Harbour at a restaurant called Plate,overlooking the bay.

We stayed at the Marriott on College Street and I dont believe the staff there provided us with the standard of service that we would have expected from the Marriott. Having stayed at other Marriott hotels I found that the service offered by the front desk staff was below par.
However we did find one of the conceirge staff very helpful but unfortunately do not know his name.

“ Brilliant location next to Circular Quay. Beds are especially comfortable. Can't fault the hotel and always enjoy staying there. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Sydney.

This hotel has a total of 170 guest rooms, as well as a Bridal spa room for a special romantic night in Sydney. The hotel has a safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a restaurant, room and laundry services and a car park. The hotel also offers 3 meeting rooms, all with natural light and 2 with balconies.
“ Fantastic hotel in a great location for all Sydney's nightlife. Beach is about 30 min bus ride away. Approx 30 min walk to Circular Quay (Opera House etc). We stayed in a premium double room which had a small living area with sofa, tv, small table for 2 people separate to the bedroom.

“ Apartment is a good size but a bit dated, could do with a redec because present scheme, a bit gloomy but did have all amenities, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and serviced every day. Staff were very polite and helpful.
