“ The hotel was okay. After we checked in I emptied my suitcase into the wardrobe and drawers. A week later I noticed some of the bits I dropped on the floor were still there. I checked with Reception as I thought that even though the towels and bathroom were cleaned perhaps they hoovered once a week. I was surprised when they told me it was supposed to be done daily. After I complained it was hoovered but then the same old thing. The hoovering seemed to be an optional part of the cleaning.
“ Top Tip: Breakfast was steep at $18, so we used to pop out to cafes which were not far - about 15 minutes walk to the centre of Perth. The hotel is situated near the centre and the river walk is particularly nice. There are red, blue and green buses in town which are free - check the routes as they are different for different buses. Perth station is not far as well and we travelled to Fremantle from there. Kings Park was great. Perth Zoo was nice - buy your tickets from the pier kiosks as they include the ferry ticket to South Perth.
