“ Very warm room & bathroom which was welcome as it was cold, and also windows which could be opened. Extremely helpful reception staff regarding using transport. Excellent breakfast buffet. Fruit salad,cold meats, bread/rolls, pastries all fresh.
“ Top Tip: Restaurant Berg, good food. Centimetres restaurant, very large portions.

The desk staff friendly and helpful, room and bathroom dated but spacious. No aircon, very hot, had to ask for a fan, also had to ask for the coffee making tray, neither supplied as a matter of routine.
The hotel is in close proximity to a noisy road, loud until around 2-3 in the morning. The traffic noise bounces off of the buildings. Not a problem on cold nights when you can close the windows, we had warm nights.
Breakfast very limited, an old (very Slow) two slice toaster for the whole hotel. Toast was the only hot food.
The tram system is located very close to the hotel, so conveniently placed, although the old City centre is only 20 minutes walk away.

Top Tip:
Vienna is a lovely place, the people are very friendly. The Spanish Riding School was fantastic, but if you're going to queue for tickets for the morning exercise, you must get there early.
The abundance of horse drawn carriages for rental are picturesque but very expensive, (Eur40, 60 and 95 for the different length tours). The sound of horse shoes on the cobbles takes you back in time.
This is a City to place on your 'Must Visit' list.
