“ Informal and relaxed but with really high standards, the Crystal Cove has got the balance absolutely right. The minute you arrive, you feel as if you have left your hectic life behind. More of a beach resort than a pool resort, although the 3 pools were very attractive - built into the rocks. The beach was glorious where you were served at your sunbed with drinks, fresh fruit and ice lollies! Welcomed families, but more geared towards an adult retreat. Nice rooms with excellent air conditioning which was needed at night. Altogether, Fab!

“ Rather cramped around the pool and not enough sunshades on the beach. Food OK but cooked in advance and rather ordinary. Setting very attractive
“ Top Tip: Buses from outside the hotel very frequent and cheap. Don't be offput by the reggae music on the yellow ones - always felt very safe.

Hotel is in a reasonable position, More like a three star. Very busy probably due to the all inclusive options. Families abound and tend to take over the pools, always impossible to get a poolside chair, due to the habit of guests claiming sun beds. Suggest using the system that applies in Dubai, if no-one has used the sun bed after one hour the towels are removed!
I thinks the drinks must be watered down, people could not drink the amount on offer without feeling slightly tipsy.
Meals in the main restaurant were good, staff are pretty bored with serving guests all day. The Beach resteraunt is very school canteenish.
Cave bar!! Why bother? No one is going to sit in there and drink, and the in-pool bar seating leaves a lot to be desired.

Top Tip:
Use the water taxi and visit their other two properties, Tamarind Cove and Colony Club, although not all inclusive they do offer a discount on meals to Crystal cove guests. Their beaches are more secluded and less Jet Bike sales staff!
do NOT take up the offer of Daphne's it is horrendously expensive cost £100 for two for a simple lunch!! Very nice setting, but not worth £100
