The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel is a landmark venue in the centre of Barrow-in-Furness. Rebuilt and reinvented over a twenty eight month period the Duke is now a beautifully styled boutique hotel. Offering 30 ensuite contemporary rooms with double and twin beds this hotel takes accommodation levels in Barrow to a new height. In early December 2008 a bespoke glass lift to all three floors of the hotel was unveiled and now allows guests to admire the Duke's famous Victorian staircase as they ascend and descend. Each room includes a designer bathroom twin or super king size double beds a flat screen digital television and luxury fittings. This is not a typical BandB establishment but a contemporary inn designed to offer exceptional comfort at a fair price. All tariffs include a full a la carte breakfast offering a choice of eggs varieties of bacon and sausage - all our breakfasts are individually prepared and cooked to order.
