Hotel Polaris opened on 18 July 2009 is a charming and stylish design hotel in the heart of Ostend. It is housed in a mansion built in 1902 and has since 2005 been protected as a monument. The eclectic style façade still reflects the charm of yesteryear. The interior has been entirely redecorated using mainly black and white colours. The reflection of this warm and pleasant atmosphere can be experienced in the rooms the restaurant as well as in the cosy lounge bar where you can enjoy an evening drink. This is a non-smoking hotel with 18 rooms spread over 3 floors which guarantees an intimate and quiet atmosphere. The modern rooms are functional and offer views either over the Groentemarkt or peace and quiet at the back. If you really want to experience the good life we suggest you opt for a deluxe room with bubble bath. The trendy restaurant is all about culinary enjoyment. It offers a modern restaurant concept called Walking Grill where in an informal atmosphere you can fully enjoy your meals buffet style. T

The Grand Hotel George V is situated in the pedestrianised shopping area, between the market-square and the seafront of this famous Belgian resort. All 80 rooms have ensuite facilities and are well furnished and presented. The bar is very traditional with its low-beamed ceiling and dark wooden furniture. The tea-room and the lounge provide an ideal place to relax and unwind. The hotel also has a sauna, solarium, sun-terrace and some exercise equipment.
