“ Overall the hotel was very pleasant and the breakfast was certainly very good. However, I had a room on the second floor which was quite noisy and contained no natural light at all. I did see a couple of other rooms which seemed much nicer so perhaps I was a bit unlucky.

“ Ideal location opposite Copacabana beach and within walking distance of Ipanema beach.Felt safe and at no time did we ever feel in danger.Room was reasonable size,a/c a bit loud but very necessary.Usual buffet breakfast coffee very good.Helpful doorman arranging taxis.Weather was 40 degrees and glad of many snack bars/drink stops along Copacabana.
“ Top Tip: Got bus to Buzios where it rained non stop for 3 days or was totally overcast.Although would recommend visit after hectic stay in Rio.Stayed at Martin Pescador and found superb restaurant Quadrucci ask for Nestor.Fantastic.Date of travel 1/12/09.
