“ Although the hotel was central and very comfortable, they let themselves down on a number of points. I wouldnt go for half board again as we ended up with literally the same meal night after night until we spoke to the manager and begged him to get us something different !!! Breakfasts were better than the evening meal. We had a city tour booked and they wrongly informed us of he meeting place and then suggested we pay for a taxi to get there. When we said no, they reluctantly gave us our money back when we said we werent happy. To top it all, on the last morning we went to settle our bill and they tried to add on the cost of the half board meals which we had already paid for !!! It took quite some convincing that we didnt owe this !!
“ Top Tip: The ski slopes were worth a visit even if you werent there for skiing, we took the cable car to the top and the views were lovely. Take something warm to wear though as the cable cars were chilly !!!

As there was many of us, thirteen to be precise who stayed at the Central Hotel, Sofia, Bulgaria. My first impressions where that that it was a very clean and well maintained hotel. The reception of guests in welcomed with smiles and the staff are very friendly.
The rooms are huge for a 3 star hotel; Very clean and well maintained including the ensuite. Room that I stayed in was spacious with Cable TV, Air/Con, Mini Bar and separate sofa suite! Not much of view outside the window but not really bothered us as there is much more to see when your out and about! Beds were more than adequate in size.
Breakfast is pretty good. A whole host of foods to eat whether you want to maintain your figure or whether you want stock up for the long day ahead. All diet needs were catered for (Veg and non Veg). Restaurant isn't bad either; had a extensive menu with local and world cuisine. The price wasn't bad either!
The Bar is the best bit! The bar staff were good as they catered for our every need as we were a stag group! Again they were cheap!
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially Stag and Hen Parties and on my personal experience I would give the hotel 9/10.

Top Tip:
J.J Murphy's Irish Pub. About 10 min walk from the hotel! Good food and a decent pint of Guinness. Thirteen of us ate for about £45-50! The Clubs and bars are kool at night. There's plenty of stuff for stags parties in the city.
Definitely recommend going shopping out there, loads for stores to see. Cabs are cheap as chips. Ride from the airport to the hotel was 10 Levs (£5). Driving is chaos over there and not for the faint hearted!

The 22-storey building comprises a total of 529 guestrooms of which 523 are doubles and 6 are apartments. The hotel lobby contains a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a cafe. In addition, there are five restaurants within the hotel offering national and international cuisine (one is e la carte with air conditioning and a non-smoking area), shops, a hairdresser's salon, a beauty salon, tourist office, bars, night time bar with an entertainment programme and last but not least, a casino. A conference room and a public Internet terminal also feature within the hotel. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park. Room and laundry services round off this hotel's offerings.
“ Room was fine. Tip to open shower gel sachets before you get into shower. Also best to check pool opening/closing times with reception since not necessarily as published.

Fully renovated in 2008, this exquisite and cosy hotel will surprise guests with its elegant style, luxurious interior and modern interpretation of classic elements. The establishment comprises a total of 101 guest rooms and features a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service and a hotel safe, as well as lift access, an on-site cafe and restaurant and Internet access. Room and laundry services are provided and guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the car park. Younger guests can let off some steam in the children's playground.
“ not too far from the airport, great for a short stay, huge rooms with good size bathrooms and all very clean. swimming pool and childrens pool both a good size with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar. pool very close to the main road, but a high wall cuts out most of the noise.
