Problems with a non flushing toilet and leaking aircon unit were quickly dealt with;requests for replacement breakfast tea and bottled water were not.
Our request for a view was met and we had a wonderful view from the 39th floor.

Overall, an excellent hotel.
Perfect city centre location with easy access to the Eaton Centre, bars/restaurants and the theatre district.
Reception staff were particularly helpful - seemed genuinely interested in helping with any problem.
Rooms are well equipped, decorated and clean.
Recent refurbishment to lobby level bar - Traders may not appeal to all tastes. The old Traders was more ambient, with intimate lighting and varied seating. New Traders appears to give priority to maximising seating and in doing has lost the ambience(only my opinion).
Quinn's Irish Bar, also at lobby level is a much better option.
“
Top Tip:
Eaton Centre within walking distance - large shopping mall with huge variety of outlets that should appeal to all.
Duke of Richmond bar & restaurant. Between the old City Hall and Eaton Centre. Great retreat after a day's shopping, with friendly staff and good menu.

“ This Hotel is a very good hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are extremely clean and the beds are the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. There is a pleasant bar and several good restaurants and shops within the hotel and its surrounds. There is an excellent swimming pool and fitness room also. The views from the hotel windows are magnificent and some of the best in Toronto. This was our 6th visit to The Sheraton, Toronto and we will most definately be returning. The position of the hotel is excellent, it is right in the heart of Downtown Toronto. It is surrounded by Restaurants, Museums, The CN Tower, Theatres and the magnificent Eton Centre for shopping. It has both StreetCar and Subway stations virtually outside. For the Winter months there is an underground Path system which links all the shops and different parts of Downtown. The Path system is like a giant underground Shopping Mall. This is great when the weather is -9 or -10. We also used it as one day it was raining and we could shop for virtually the whole day without going outside at all
“ Top Tip: Jack Astors Reataurant on John Street serves the best steaks in the world for a very reasonable price. Opposite the hotel is Osgoode Hall, you can sit in the gardens, soaking up the sun and hand feed the Black Squirrels and watch them chasing around with brown Squirrels. In winter you can skate on the manmade pond/lake on Nathan Phillips Square right opposite the Hotel. 5 minutes to the west of the hotel is China Town which is fascinating to walk around.
